Enjoyed a late lunch here on a Sunday - not busy. My picky eater liked his hamburger (but I thought it was a bit pricey at $10). The cook does add what appears to be Montreal steak spice to the patty, in case that isn't your style. Poutine was good (above average for Ontario) and onion rings were good (although my daughter thought they were a bit salty for her taste). We appreciated the portion of the family fries - very generous. The poutines could have been a bit bigger for the price. Staff was friendly and served us well, and the picnic table area was very clean.

The worst 10.00 medium fries I have ever had. Hot hot. Old fries from yesterday it seams. We even found an uncooked frozen one mixed in.

Had to throw them out. Seagulls didn’t even want them. Very expensive garbage

I am usually quite generous with my reviews on Google but there was absolutely nothing good about our visit here. First off, the wait was incredibly long (at least 20 minutes) and there were only one or two other customers - all we got was hot dogs/fries/onion rings. When we finally got our order, both the fries and onion rings were overcooked and not enjoyable... shouldn't a "fry truck" at the very least have perfected cooking good fries, if nothing else? Then the condiments were put on our hotdogs for us (rather than being able to add them ourselves) and as a result they were SWIMMING in condiments (see the picture). It was disgusting. Finally, we ordered and paid extra for cheese on our hot dogs expecting actual cheese - but all it turned out to be was one of those processed "Kraft singles"-style cheese slices, which neither of us enjoy. The entire meal was a disappointment. I would never eat here again and I would encourage the owner to work on their fries & onion rings if they want to be considered a fry truck. The one positive is that the gentleman serving customers was nice. Unfortunately that doesn't make up for the terrible food and long wait.

He wont let you see how much youre paying. Hes scamming as his customers. 15$ for a hot dog and small fries.

We typically stop here for dinner when we attend the Cruise Nights on the last Friday of each month beginning in June. We've never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly, the food is piping hot, fries are crispy and our fish burgers are always tasty. Never had an issue with service.

UPDATE to my original post.
I hate criticizing , but other people might want to know this so i wrote it.
HOWEVER i see now, the words "Gluten Free " .
Maybe that's why we didn't like it at all.?
Feel sorry for people on gluten free!!!

Recently;
We ordered 2 single hamburgs, no cheese, one small poutine and one can of coke.($30)
To us, nothing was edible. It all tasted as if it had been sitting a long time, then reheated.
After only a couple of bites of each burger, and about 4 fries each of the poutine, we both had to pack it up and put it in the trash. We ate less than 25% of our order. I didn't even save the burger meat for my dog. The coke that we split, was the only item that we finished.
The person that took our order was friendly and very nice, but it seemed to take a really long time to receive our order.
The atmosphere was epic, as we enjoyed sitting at the lovely, clean picnic tables provided , on a glorious summer day.
We will never be repeat customers to this eatery, but absolutely loved our visit to beautiful, amazing Kincardine.

If you want to eat a good poutine this is not your place. I can make a better poutine at home. Fries are not good at all.
