On revient de rentrer de nos vacances au Canada où on a passé trois semaines. L'hotel le plus dégoûtant était le Ramada Limited à Calgary, et on a visité beaucoup d'hotels. On n'avait pas beuacoup de choix étant donné que c'était la semaine "Stampede" et que tout était complet. Déjà la réception n'était pas accueillante et la chambre encore pire. Etat délabrée, la chambre puait, il y avait même des cheveux dans le lit et en plus c'était cher. Une rénovation entière s'impose. Le peiti déjeuner, il ne vaut même pas la peine d'en parler. Tout simplement dégoûtant.

Points positifs: Lit king neuf, proximité du C-Train (métro), déjeuner inclus avec quantité correct mais basique, piscine intérieure||||Négatifs: a besoin de rénovation évidente partout dans les couloirs, chambre et surtout balcon. Pas très propre, long à nettoyer les couloirs. ||||Allez-y si c'est moins cher car les hôtels voisins sont généralement mieux.

I strongly advise against staying at the Metro Inn in Calgary. My experience here was terrible. My friend and I were on vacation and only used the room for sleeping at night and early in the morning. However, the door to our room constantly malfunctioned and wouldn’t open properly. Each time we reported the issue, the staff were dismissive and offered little to no assistance. Frustrated, we decided to leave two days before our reservation was up. The entire place also reeked of weed, despite the no-smoking policy. You’re better off spending an extra $100 or $200 to stay somewhere more reliable and comfortable. This place is not worth the hassle.
And disposed money was not returned and when I called them they answered but no one talked.

This was an all around disappointing experience. I was helping out my cousin by getting him a room for a few days. The front desk person was incredibly rude and racist towards him. To the point the told me, not my cousin, that if he had any guests the cops would be called and he would be arrested. That if there was so much as a piece of garbage not in a bin at check-out, I would be charged the whole "damage fee". If it hadn't been a last minute booking with no refund, we would have taken our business elsewhere rather than him having to walk on eggshells the whole weekend.

This hotel would have made Gordon Ramsey explode into a puddle of lamb sauce, given how horrific it truly was. Where do I even start? I suppose from the beginning. The "lobby" of this hotel is more depressing than an underfunded hospital waiting room in a small rural town. It was dirty and dusty, and the two little tables looked broken. No music, no art, no joy. The pool was right off the lobby and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long while, and there was a very sad little room that had the washer and dryer. We were also told when booking that there was a free breakfast, but when we inquired, the person at the desk said that there was no breakfast. Moving onto the actual room. It's supposed to be a smoke-free building, but the hallways all smelled like smoke. Our key didn't work for 5 minutes, but once we got the door opened, I wished it hadn't opened at all. It smelled like something was just off and a little bit wrong. Upon entering, we realized how much of a mistake we made. Our curtains were torn up, the window was broken and couldn't fully close, the AC unit was broken and had cheerios inside of it (I guess that was our breakfast), the book with restaurants and activities had greasy pizza stains all over it, and there were some food bits on one page. The plug-in was falling out of the wall and our microwave was just missing. In the bathroom, there was a suspicious stain beside the toilet, and there was a rat-like clump of hair just hanging out in the bathtub (nobody took a shower). The fan looked like it was ready to fall out of the ceiling, and the sink barely worked. The sheets had all sorts of stains, and I did not sleep under them. Even though we were only there for 2 nights, nobody even came to the room to change out the one hand towel we had. There is probably other stuff that I am forgetting, but I think you get the picture. The cherry on top was that on their sign outside it said, "Today, do your best," which is arguably one of the most ironic things I have ever seen considering the state of this place. I guess they meant "do your best to survive this place." We barely did.

I had a reservation to stay here. Upon check in they tried to charge me more than double what was initially said. They wanted to charge me over $20 even to pay with a debit card because it would take 1 minute extra for them, none of which was said over the phone when I booked. Extremely rude staff. I made the good decision to walk away and not stay there. Not worth your time. Dishonest, rude and unhelpful staff.
