Very cute little cafe, looks like something straight out of an indie movie. They have a selection of sandwiches, ice creams, kambocha and small cakes. Limited seating inside (in the winter) on the bar. But in the summer there is outdoor seating. Twinkle lights and folk music makes it a nice setting to have a coffee and a read a book. The coffee is really excellent. Mellow roast blend, and the milk was heated to the perfect temperature. I would just appreciate if it could not be served in to go cup.

I've been to apprentice a few times, and their food and drinks have always been AMAZING!!! Would 100% recommend for everyday or their special festival hot chocolates and ice creams. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is cozy.

Such an adorable little coffee/ice cream spot! The views are unbeatable, and there's a lovely park across the street for a nice stroll. They have a few outdoor tables on a quiet street, making it perfect for a pleasant day. The inside is tiny and cozy. I had hazelnut mocha and roasted chicken sandwich and it’s delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

I just moved into the neighborhood recently and have never been here before. It's a bustling and cheerful place serving up great customer service with a side of delicious coffee and mouth watering breakfast sandwiches 🤘🏻
I tried a drink special, tumeric and cardamom latte; it was the perfect serving size. To eat I asked the dude to surprise me, just nothing with mayo. I can't recall what he made, but damn 🤤 again perfect serving size and leaving me wanting more.
There is some seating inside, and more seating outside, but I opted for the picnic table across the street at the local park ☺️ it's one of the last warm days of the year I'm sure.

Apprentice Cafe is an absolute gem in the heart of downtown! My wife and I stopped in for coffee and were thoroughly impressed—not only by the rich flavors in our drinks but by the cozy ambiance, the downtown view, and the genuine friendliness of the staff. We ordered a hot Vanilla Latte and a Caramel Latte, and from the very first sip, we knew we were in for something special. The taste was unmatched, with a depth and quality you don’t find in typical syrups. When we asked about it, the server explained they prepare their syrups in-house, using only high-quality ingredients, which truly elevates the flavor.

The cafe itself is small, but immaculately clean and well-kept, including a spotless kitchen area in plain view. Even though I wasn’t particularly hungry, the atmosphere and attention to detail inspired me to try their Roasted Chicken Sandwich. The server offered to customize it, and it was easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had—made even better by the fact that they bake their buns fresh in-house! Apprentice Cafe has officially earned a spot on my list of favorite cafes in town. If you’re a coffee or food enthusiast, this place is a must-visit.

One of the best coffee and icecream in town *hands down*. It's a quaint cafe in the lovely neighbourhood of Ramsay. Has a variety of things to choose from - coffee, tea, kombucha, sandwiches, ice cream, sorbet. Affogato has to be my favorite item on the menu. Lots of dairy-free options to choose from. Food could be a bit overpriced but they make Focaccia in-house so worth trying once maybe. Service is great as well. A small place to sit inside and work, but there are tables outside and also, there's a park and river walk nearby.
