It was my first visit and Brooklyn did an amazing job on my Men’s curly cut. I had never had a specific cut to my curly hair, not only was the cut great, I learned a lot about how to take care of my type of hair better. Brooklyn was friendly and great to chat with throughout the cut/wash/styling. Very happy overall and highly recommend.

Great curly hair salon! Friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff. Took the time to discuss colouring pros/cons and matched up great with highlights done at a different salon. Great quality and value; worth the drive from Calgary for sure. My curls look fantastic even after washing and styling on my own.

Came here to clean up my damaged hair and Brooklyn did such a thorough job! We chatted for a bit at the start to get on the same page and she recommended a cut to me that would suit me best. My hair is really healthy and bouncy after it and I’m so happy about it 🥰♥️

My first visit to Chez Soi 1912 was A+ excellent 😊 The salon is beautiful, sparkling clean, and friendly staff, but more importantly - Joslyn the stylist they paired me with is a lovely young woman, very patient with this senior and offered wonderful suggestions! My hair looked and felt great when I was done and their pricing was comparable to my home stylist. I look forward to continuing with Joslyn when we are in Cochrane 😊 thank you for such a positive experience❣️

A few days ago I had my first ever curly cut, done by Brooklyn. I hadn't had so much as a trim in over 3 years as my last experience had been so terrible (something along the lines of "Dora the Explorer" + heat damage would describe it well) that I put it off for entirely too long. The cut I left Chez Soi with, however, was the best and most flattering haircut of my life. I nearly cried at the mirror because I had no idea my hair could look so good and my curls could be so manageable. As well, Brooklyn was an absolute delight to chat with and made me feel so comfortable in expressing my needs throughout. Now, a few days post-curly-cut, my family is getting tired of hearing me gush about how beautiful I feel and how much I love it. Chez Soi 1912 is ABSOLUTELY worth driving out of Calgary for, and I will certainly be coming back.
