Had chicken Hakka noodles & chicken Biryani. I did think it should be a bit more food for the cost but was great authentic food.

Both dishes were great, however this restaurant Biryani bun my belly for a long time unfortunately 😣.

None the less I will return to try other dishes.

The food is the best Indian food I have tried in the Calgary area. I always come for the lunch buffet, so many options, delicious and affordable. Cannot recommend enough !

Excellent food! Had the lunch buffet and the butter chicken, tandoori chicken and goat curry were all excellent. The spices seemed right and the flavors were spot on as well. The decor, price, and atmosphere were all great as well.
I spent the afternoon sleeping off the mango dessert.
A definite recommend for anyone that enjoys Indian food.

Gate of India in Cochrane has quickly become one of our favorite dining spots. The food is consistently delicious, and the tandoori chicken is simply outstanding—perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The samosa chaat is another highlight, with a delightful blend of flavors and textures that make it a must-try. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Gate of India never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Very clean dining area…. That was something that stood out to both of us.

We visited for the lunch buffet, Although some items were not immediately available the staff quickly went to work preparing all new dishes fresh for us, and even went the extra mile to check which items we wanted first.

Staff were courteous and engaging.

The menu is a bit intimidating. I’ll admit, however, I am looking forward to coming back and trying a spicier Vindaloo dish In the very near future.

Nice to have a good Indian food restaurant here in Cochrane. Highly recommend you check it out.
