My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine's Day at Daon, and it was absolutely perfect! We were lucky to get a lunch reservation as they were completely booked for the evening, and lunch did not disappoint.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the server and immediately seated. The room was decorated for Valentine's Day, and they even provided a flower to all the groups that came in! I thought it was a very nice touch, creating a pleasant atmosphere— it impressed us both, and we thought it was wonderful. Additionally, the space was very neat and clean and practically empty. I really hope more people check this place out because they deserve the business!!!

We ordered the Baechu-roll Soup and the Jaeyuk BBQ and finished EVERYTHING. This is the second time I have been here, and the food never disappoints. You can tell they put time and effort into making the food, which truly reflects in the authenticity of the dishes. They give you a generous amount of food (a main, a salad, rice, and two additional side dishes chosen to complement your main), and for ~$20, it is an AMAZING deal.

The server checked in on us regularly, making sure we were comfortable and topping up our water/tea when needed. She was incredibly kind, and the customer service was fantastic. I also had the chance to meet the chef, and you can tell she puts so much heart into her cooking. She was so kind and welcoming—it was lovely to talk to someone so passionate about what they make (and that passion is reflected in the food because it is genuinely AMAZING).

I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone, as I cannot get enough of it. The food is truly incredible, everyone is so welcoming, and I will definitely be coming back!!!

Staff were friendly and atmosphere was nice with soothing music at a great volume. Place was very clean and well lit. Appetizer and drinks came without much wait and were very good . Main course meals were both so tasty wish I had another plate ! Will definitely come back in the future and try some other selections.

Very homey Korean restaurant.

Food was authentic, we had beef and seafood tofu soup’s beef bulgogi and dumplings.

Server was always attentive and friendly.

This might be an underrated restaurant as we were the only customers on a Saturday 1pm-ish.

Such a delicious meal! I ordered a takeout for the second time now from this lovely family restaurant. The Bibimpap was hard to beat! The two ladies helped me were super sweet and treated me with extra kimchi and rice for free 🙂

Went to cochrane to check out the town. And this was the only asian restaurant open at the time. And it did not disappoint! It was the best Sundubu Jjiggae I’ve tried! It was so comforting and tastes legit Korean Food. The spiciness is not overwhelming. Just really hits the spot.

Love the food here, always served sizzling hot (as seen in the videos) and fresh. Perfect levels of spiciness on the dishes today and the katsu bites are so crispy and tasty. Service is always wonderful and friendly always treated like family. Highly recommended

The food was so amazing!! Best Korean meal I've ever had in AB. Fresh ingredients, amazing taste! I loved how the food is nicely displayed in a tray. The two appetizer we tried were very tasty! All my family enjoyed the food. My kids (both under 10) loved the Korean BBQ dishes. I loved cabbage rolls soup! My husband loved beef Bibimbab. They were all so good!👍
