Pretty swell coffee place. Great atmosphere and decor. Also has a ton of community related items on the wall, including art pieces for sale and animal adoption info.
Oh and the coffee and croissants were pretty darn good!

Love the ambience, lovely place. Hidden gem. One of the best coffee shops in Vancouver area. Baked goods are really good. A perfect spot to relax. Ample seating & easy to get a nice spot.

The demands of such cafe owners really upset me, hence giving this place one star:
- really needed something sweet after a long flight/day and I came across this place and thought 'great, I will have a nice cake'. Not only was the Mango cake very dry and tasteless but it was priced around 6 dollars!!!!! What a con!!!
- to add insult to injury, the thin guy with glasses reading a book decided to push his paying device asking me to tip him for moving his behind from the cake stand to the paying point looking at me like a vulture. I felt so intimidated and I felt like saying 'no, I do not think you deserve a tip for doing your job while the rest of us work for peanuts too' but I was too sick and tired for that, so I just tipped him to eat a bit of that awful, dry cake with some mango concoction on top and lots of dry dough in the middle. How old was that cake, I wonder: most surely a few days. So yes, I would give 0 stars if I could.

Very cute family-run business. The atmosphere is great for after school studying and the mix of staple café drinks with a cycling list of unique refreshers keeps the menu exciting. I especially loved the multiple community-oriented bulletin boards, including a board for local artists and a different board showcasing animals currently up for adoption from a local shelter. The food and drink were fantastic, I had the sunset refresher and a scone and my partner the mocha. Both drinks were fantastic. Will absolutely be returning.

The owners and staff members are really sweet and wholesome people. There are some really good caffeine drinks options to choose from. They also have gluten free dessert and sandwich options available.

Great little cafe in the mall! Service and quality is better than any other food at the mall. Got a flat white and it was delicious! Didn’t try any of the baked goods but they looked great!

If you need a boost during your shopping trip, First Light will not disappoint!

Nice cozy place with pastries and coffee. The guy preparing the coffee was very nice and friendly. They girl in the cashier was less friendly but in general the experience was good. The decoration of the place is beautiful. Prices are not bad. Keep a good product and outstanding customer service and you will do very well.
