As long-time residents of the South Delta community, my now-husband and I have always valued supporting our local businesses. When planning and hosting our wedding, we sought venues that would not only provide exceptional service but also reflect the warmth and spirit of our hometown. Mario's Kitchen and its neighboring restaurant, Gracie's Next Door, stood out as the perfect choices for our post-ceremony cocktail reception.

Mario's Kitchen has been a staple location for our family dinners and events over the years, and this time, we decided to host at Gracie's Next Door. The outcome was nothing short of spectacular. From the outset, the management and staff demonstrated remarkable dedication and professionalism.

The team at Gracie's Next Door delivered excellent service throughout our event. They were attentive, ensuring that tabs were accurately started for the correct guests and taking the time to remember each guest's name and preferences. The food was absolutely outstanding, with our guests continually commenting on how delicious and plentiful everything was. The impressive spread truly elevated the experience and left everyone delighted.

We were truly amazed by the turnout and the seamless execution of our reception. The hard work and commitment of the staff ensured that our day was flawless and unforgettable. A special thank you to Darren and the entire team at Mario's Kitchen and Gracie's Next Door for their exceptional service and support.

Don’t bring your date here: impossible to have a quiet conversation. Music is good though too loud. We made reservations but they placed us in the middle next to a boisterous table. Food: meh. Went with tapas and they were all bland. Server missed the wine order. Dismal experience. Tacos: just ok, you’re better off going to some place else. Sliders: dry. Cauliflower: ok. Brussels sprouts: average.

Came in here last night and the place was packed but they were able to squeeze us in (a group of 7). My 7-year-old niece, who is usually the pickiest of picky eaters, ate like she'd just spent 39 days on Survivor and was rewarded with a feast — just a long way to say the food was fantastic! Our server, Shelby, was an absolute delight. Overall, it was a wonderful experience 🙂

January 12th 2024 We had a wedding dinner planned for 20 with the wedding ceremony to take place on the beach in Tsawassen. Unfortunately it was -13°c and a wind of 60KM so at 9am I contacted Michaela and asked if there was any way we could do it at the restaurant. She said yes and Wow it worked out amazing everything was perfect right down to we moved inside they made it just so perfect. And our server Annabel I can't believe how amazing she was handling 20 guests everyone made great comments on the server and Great Food.
I truly cannot thank the whole team at Grace's for making our day perfect from just a simple I Do to a 1st Class wedding Thank You from the bottom of my Heart ❤️ Richard and Tina Glasner

Service: 5/5 – our server, Bailey came to check on us often
Food: 5/5 – ordered the halibut burger wrapped in lettuce rather than a brioche bun. It came with potato wedges. The fish was cooked to perfection & didn’t taste dry. The other dish was the seafood linguine with plenty of prawns, scallops & mussels in tomato sauce. We finished the meal off with crème crème brulee. I recommend all 3 dishes. There’s an extensive taco menu. Great choices for vegans and vegetarians.
Value: 5/5 – reasonably priced compared to city prices
Parking: 5/5 – complimentary parking in front

If you’re ever in the neighbourhood in need of a good meal especially before or after a ferry ride, this is the place to go! Can’t wait to come back to try their tacos.

Came here for a cozy brunch on a rainy Sunday; they got heaters and even blankets on the chairs!

The food was great, but I really couldn’t give it 5/5, service was just subpar. Maybe it was just a quiet morning for the place but overall, good food 🙂

This is a wonderful restaurant! 2 of us have to eat gluten free and I trust them. This is huge for a celiac! There are so many gluten free options. Annabelle, our server was the epitome of grace, she has a lovely manner, the perfect blend of warmth and professionalism. The food is excellent. First class spot, we will be back! Again and again!
