The facility is very nice if only employees followed the posted schedule and rules themselves and for others and if the "experienced" ladies at the front desk could be just a little friendly. Perhaps take a lesson from the boys?

1. Sensory swim - people having loud conversations and non-sensory music played too loud; in essence you are lucky if you actually get to experience the sensory swim. Could it be that one can expect a spa like atmosphere on account of music played for instance?

2.Lane swim - posted times are ignored. If there's a swimming class, the teams are allowed to take up your lane swim time interfering with your schedule and enjoyment. I have also experienced others criss-crossing the lane I was swimming in that was away from the swim class.

Employees connect their own cellphone to the speaker system creating a loud disco atmosphere in effect pushing you to leave while the employees are having a ball shadow dancing at the head of the pool. ?

These are my observations as I am a true believer that posted schedules and posted swim quality are there for a reason and perhaps not to be ignored.

Perhaps don't post if you cannot deliver. If this had been my first such experience I would have increased the rating. Realizing that this is ongoing a change would be nice.

My wife and I recently signed up for a monthly pass, just to try it out so the kids could have somewhere to swim, we have lived in Sussex our whole lives and have only ever gone a handful of times. Well we have been to the pool pretty much every day since getting our pass. We are all enjoying it so much that we even upgraded our monthly pass to a 12 month commitment. Everyone there is so pleasant and happy when you walk in. They make you feel like you’re part of a family!

Unfortunately after 10 yeaes of supporting this facility, this will be my last month. The prices are outrageous! Especially if you only want access to the gym. $70 a month. That doesnt include pool, classes ect. Just the gym area, which is a very small and cramped space. The original employees are still friendly (even tho few remain) the front desk ladies tend to be rude, offf putting and unhelpful. The facility is clean, but there are a lot of equipment that seems to be out of order alot and water leaks often. I have found another gym in town where mysf and my partner can join for $80 for the both of us together. Im sad to go, i like to be loyal and supportive but not at this price to use a treadmill and a yoga mat.

The people are nice, the gym facility is great too until they shut the track down for one of their classes. Don't know why they dont do those in the room up stairs. Also, the hours are terrible. Who closes a gym at 3pm on a saturday?
