Beautiful building. It set the tone for the wonderful treatment that followed. I was booked for a great treatment, body scrub massage followed by facial. What a delight! Jessica was friendly, professional, and provided a memorable treatment.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life, I take CBD to relax me before massages, I have been doing this for years. I am a body builder. I get 1 to 2 deep tissue massages a week in alberta, and I was denied getting a massage here. Due to being "high"

I felt like I was being stereotyped for the way I look.

The Indian head massage with registered massage therapist Michael was absolutely amazing! Probably the best massage I've ever had, and I've been going to massage therapists for the last 15 years. The best thing is that it's covered by insurance because he is a RMT. I booked a regular massage therapy appointment with him too and it was equally as good! Highly recommend! Thank you Michael!

Very disappointed in the customer service. I booked a 2 hour appointment weeks in advance for my trip to St. John's. The day of my appointment they called to cancel it because someone was sick. They weren't very apologetic and offered no discounts on any other services. Won't be returning.

This spa cancelled our full body services 2 hours before the appointment. These appointments were booked well in advance and required people to travel 5+ hours to attend. If the roles were reversed and the client cancelled 2 hours before, they would have not only been upset, but been charged in full.

Saw Michael M for my massage today and couldn’t recommend him more! Kind, professional, great treatment and welcoming environment. He was thorough when discussing treatment plan and did an awesome job. Highly recommend!

Went there for a pedicure and gel nails and I had actual nails put on, beautiful place, friendly staff, but myself and my daughters nail experience was the worst. The pedicure however was great. I had nails done before and they would last a couple months so I was expecting the same especially for the price. I had them done on a Friday for a wedding on Saturday even before the reception started one feel off, then the next day a couple more came off by the following Monday they were all off, all nails still fully intact for a total of 4 days. I contacted the spa and after paying over 300.00 for myself and my daughter I got back a 46.00 credit and they told my daughter they had a credit left there that my sister will use as we don’t live in St. John’s, so I’m unsure how much that is, not a good nail experience I won’t be going back there.

Spa review:
Only book the RMT. I booked with "upstairs" since my insurance wouldn't cover an RMT anyway I thought it wouldn't matter. I had a hot stone massage, the room was 20C and although the bed had a heated blanket on it, I was chilly even with hot stones. The provider was pleasant but was clearly not trained. She wore gloves the entire time (specifically against recommendations for hot stone but not recommended unless medically necessary) and really just brushed the stones up and down my body.
It was still relaxing to lie down for an hour with soft music but it wasn't really much of a massage at all. When I asked about the experience, especially since the gloves really clued me in to something not being right - they said that the non RMTs wear them if they choose to. I let them know that it was a disappointing experience and they asked if I wanted to speak to a manager - I said that the management could reach out to me in a couple of days so that I don't ruin the relaxation at least from the massage. I never heard anything from them.
I didn't realise that places could offer massage without any specific training and thought RMTs were specifically registered for medical issues and injuries - so this was my misunderstanding on requirements. However, I would still expect anyone offering massages to have appropriate training, especially when offering specialities like hot stone.
