Today(Friday) I ordered The special . A beef brisket sandwich with Chicken Mulligatawny Soup and homemade baked beans.
The soup was a rich, creamy, curry-flavored broth that’s filled with chicken, veggies, rice, and possibly small bits of apple. It was comforting and satisfying that really wowed my tastebuds instantly
My meal also included a side of baked beans that were perfectly thick, rich, smoky with a perfect kick of heat

The brisket sandwich I ordered was another masterpiece . It was sweet and tender. You could tell that a lot of preparation went into cooking the meat The individual cuts were incredibly tender. The end of each strip of meat looked nicely charred and you could feel where they had seared it to keep the juices inside while bringing together all the best flavors.

We really like Stockmans. It has a great country feel, and staff are really friendly. For the most part, I've liked almost everything I've had there. They have 2 sections, a family side and a pub side, and also a nice patio in the summer. They offer a wide range of food items from chicken strips and pizza to salmon and steak. Some of our faves include the lasagna, the warm brie salad, poutine, mac and cheese, quesadilla.. so much good food!

Wanted to try something different then the same old in Calgary, found Stockman’s Restaurant &Lounge in Heritage off Dunbow Road. The meat pizza was amazing and we also had the beef dip which was slow roasted to perfection. The atmosphere is incredible, full of historical photography’s. The owner Craig stopped by and gave us a quick lowdown of some of the pieces hanging on the wall. If you do stop by make sure to walk around have a look at the photography. The photo here is from the one of the first Calgary Stampede 1912.

If you like leather or jerky, come for the Monday night dried out wing special. They look and taste like they were double deep fried.
This is not the first time we’ve been graced by the petrified wings.

I would like to comment on this adorable restaurant and lounge that I dined in with a friend this past week. The atmosphere is very ambient, food simply delicious and our server, Jill, was amazing. She was efficient, very personable and in my estimation, should be commended for ensuring her customers receive the highest level of service and value for money well spent. Sincere thanks Jill and as it was my first time at Stockman's, will most definitely be back. Fondest regards Cindy & Joyce.

Been multiple times, Amazing staff food and service. Great place for family dinner, dates or goin with your friends. Owner is very friendly also staff is very personable. Had a couple of dates here and they are great people to socialize with. Best casual food spot in southern Calgary imo

Excellent customer service from Allie. Nice warm evening, we had one of the low tables on the patio. Great place for a birthday party, date night or drinks with friends. Easy to get to. Food was served hot and was delicious. I recommend the Stockmans Burger and Sweet potato fries. We'll be back.

Update Feb 2023: Been coming here for 5 years and I don't eat most of their menu! However, they make up for it in outstanding customer service and broccoli and cheese soup. The chocolate cake is pretty sweet too.
