We had a wonderful overnight stay at this bed and breakfast. Wanda was the perfect hostess. Our room was clean, private and the bed was very comfortable. Everything that we needed was supplied and the common area was a perfect place to relax. We had a great hot breakfast of bacon and eggs, toast, jam juice and coffee. I was even offered coffe to fill my thermos! The rates were very reasonable. We would definitely stay there again. We loved the decor, bright colours and lots of artwork mixed in with antiques and interesting knickknacks.

Wow, what can I say. Stayed there on Aug 9 and 10 / 2019 attending the Mussel Bed Soiree on Friday, with the concert happening Sat. Wandaaaaa is the hostess with the mostest!! Friendly, engaging, superior communication skills, feels the vibe of people and adjusts accordingly. Had the best breakfast for each day and each night there was a fire pit outside, where visitors mingled. Always making you feel at home, Wanda went well beyond a bed and breakfast host, where you were just a get up and go customer . The rooms were large and tastefully decorated , and each with it's own bathroom. Going back to next years concert, because we know , with Wanda still there, we know we will have a great time!! If you read this review Wanda, it is indeed heartfelt!! See you in 2020!!!

Horrendous! I’m 58 y/o and I’ve never encountered anything like this. First of all, the house looks unkept, you don’t really know where to park when you arrive and then you see the house is actually for sale. Nice. The owner is obviously a smoker and THE SMELL is impregnated everywhere ?. I really feel this should be made known to us beforehand (I certainly wouldn’t have booked there). The place feels more like an expensive couch-surfing experience than an inexpensive B&B. You literally have the feeling of having ended up at a distant cousin’s friend’s house for a wedding you didn’t even want to attend in the first place. Rooms are awfully decorated. TV was iPad sized. We didn’t even stay: over dinner we started frantically looking for somewhere - anywhere - else to stay. When we got back there to get our luggage (fortunately, we hadn’t unpacked) someone was crying and praying with someone else in front of our room ?. Oh, and BTW, rooms are unlocked ?. I put one star because you can’t go below that rating. Wanda, the owner is nice though and was very understanding which made our escape easier.

Arrived late in the day, Wanda met us at the front door, I was a little nervous when it seemed that she did not have our reservation from Booking.com. But all was good, she even gave us choice of rooms that were available. The room was clean and big enough for sleeping, it had an adjoining washroom with a shower, which was perfect. There is a common area that anyone can use, and the outdoor space was great. Plenty of parking of Church street. We stayed for 4 nights, and were treated extremely well. full breakfast in the morning coffee was always ready, and Wanda always came outside (i smoke) to make sure i had a cup. Wanda offered us use of the laundry facilities, although wee did not use them, and she asked us each day if we needed clean towels, or if we wanted our sheets changed. We never met the Host, just Wanda, She gave us suggestions for meals etc. I would stay here again if I was ever back to Lewisporte.

The room was clean and comfortable. Our host Wanda was fantastic. Could not have asked for a more welcoming and friendly person. Her breakfasts were the best start to a day. We had s wonderful 5 day stay.

Without a doubt, Wanda was by far our best host outside of friends and family. Over 15,000 KM on our motorcycle trip this summer, staying in lots of different places and this B & B is at the top, by a long shot, largely because of the larger than life person Wanda is. Wanda is a character and in a good way! Expect many laughs and we will always have this memory. Hopefully she will be there when we go back. And we will go back. The house was extremely clean, our room was very nice and breakfast was great. We met others who had stayed here before and always come back. I have already told friends travelling in Newfoundland about staying here. Go is all I can say.

We were warmly welcomed into Wanda’s home. For supper, she directed us to one of our best fish meals of our three weeks in Nfld. We had a very comfortable night in a spacious room and were well fed the next morning. Centrally located.

This Bed and Breafast has small rooms but they are very clean. We never met the host but the person on site, Wanda, could not do enough for us. She was an absolute pleasure. Breakfast was basic but did the trick.
