Shane homes is a decent facility. There's plenty of equipment considering the amount of tráffic that flows through.

The drop in registration needs an overhaul unfortunately. It's my first time seeing drop ins limited by registrations and whoever can click the fastest. I hope the YMCA realizes this is a big disadvantage for those who are technically challenged.

This place is so smelly due the Jugo Juice's grill. The air is so polluted and stinky because Jugo Juice uses cooking oil to clean the grill and the fume is directly released into the air. I talked to the staff many times and even talked to the Jugo Juice's worker. I told them there are two ways to stop the pollution: install a hood fan or stop using the grill. However, nobody cares in fact.

Hopefully the management can see my post and make changes.

Increased prices. For dropping off to swimming pool gone higher than every other fitness. But washroom , shower room are not good at all. Hallway in changing rooms needs to rinse at least after a few hours.Some are out off service water temp and shower 🚿 are broken. Water not running properly or boiling hot. 🥵 today I got burned my scalp. Had to leave middle of shower changed to the next other one water was running very slow. Steam room extremely hot couldn’t stay not even a minute. When people are spending money for every day dropping off or member ship. Excepting better service

It's a very good place with all the facilities, I like it. Staff are nice and helpful. The only thing is that pool lockers don't have locks, so you have to bring your own every time or just leave the locker door unlocked.

Best recreational facility I’ve visited. The architecture is so beautiful here, and they really have maximized the space with a lot of amenities like the pool, fitness centre, gymnasium, skating rink etc. The change rooms were super clean, and there was a lot of space to get changed with wide lockers to store valuables. Loved the waterslide, and wave pool. Also a nice deep hot tub which is a good size. The only things I would suggest is spending more time cleaning the outside. All the garbage cans in the parking lot were full. Also maybe improving the elevator because it is pretty beat up. Other than that great facility. Will come back.

There’s only two YMCA in the city and this is definitely the most pathetic one. First of all, how could all bathroom be out of service? The one with a slippery sign doesn’t even lock at all and I had people walked in on me handful of times and let alone I mentioned the issue to two different workers and the management hasn’t action it and it’s been weeks! I’m paying $90/month for this pathetic management this is ridiculous. Step it up honestly.

If you’re looking for a gym that truly values its members, the YMCA is the way to go!

I've been coming here since 2018 when it opened, and it used to be a great, clean, and brand-new facility. It still has a lot of benefits, such as the gym and workout area, and the rock climbing and ice-skating rink, however, the pool locker room, pool deck, and shower areas are not well-maintained and as clean as they once were. There's a lot of gunk on the floors. The whole area smells kinda funky and weird too. As for the hot tub, once upon a time you could come here, and the hot tub wouldn't be overcrowded and at max. capacity. Nowadays, using the hot tub means waiting in line and taking turns letting people out and letting people go in.

EDIT: the swimsuit dryers are broken because people don’t use them properly. Go figure.
