Greeted by friendly owners offering warmth and hospitality throughout our stay. Extremely clean and nicely decorated room featuring comfy bed and modern amenities. Full homemade breakfast with fruit, eggs bacon, homefries and toast set us up for the travelling ahead. A beautiful view of the Harbour could be seen from our bedroom as well as a common room for all guests. We are so happy to have found this "gem" and wish Bev and Mervin continued success with their B & B

Bev, the host, is a wonderful, friendly person. She is lovely to chat with and provides a great breakfast complete with fresh fruit. Our room was nicely decorated and included a few extras we hadn’t seen in other B&Bs, eg. chocolates and a binder with local information. Highly recommend.

Bev is an excellent host and offered a truly authentic Newfoundland experience. Her and her husband are warm hearted, charismatic, and overly generous to their guests. At least they were with us!||||The room was sufficient in that it was a comfortable Queen sized bed with soft and clean bedding. The room had its own TV with connected internet service via a Roku device. The in-room Wi-Fi was fast enough for a video conferencing call without issues. The in-room bathroom was equipped with a shower, toilet and wash basin, all in fine working order. Most of all, it was clean and fresh. ||||Breakfast was served promptly at the arranged time to our requests. Bev keeps some gluten-free and dairy-free options available for guests with dietary needs. The food was fresh, tasty and served warm.||||We arrived on our motorcycles in the late afternoon and were warmly greeted by Bev. However it was a Sunday and area restaurants don't stay open all hours like they do in Toronto or other large cities. Bev & Merv were very gracious and extended themselves to our benefit. I won't give the details as I don't want to set a precedent for them but it was greatly appreciated and only added to the pleasure of our stay and to our travels.||||At last count there are four room available. We stayed in the Higdon room. And even though we were there during an unseasonable heat wave, the room was well ventilated and came with a fan, making for a comfortable and cool evening.||||Lastly, it is a stop on our trip that we will remember fondly and will share with others frequently.

There are only four rooms and they are not very large. Each has a queen size bed and one of the rooms has a bunk bed to accommodate two more people...good for a family of four or three adults.|The rooms are impeccably clean. They also provide good quality shampoo, body wash and the lotion along with plenty of towels. You can have a view of the bay from every room.|The breakfast provided in the morning included a plate of fruits and berries, orange juice, coffee and bacon,, eggs, hash brown and toast. The homemade partridgeberry was delicious. They also offered pastry in the evening for snack although we missed it.|The owners, Beverly and Melvin were very personable and friendly. They gave us plenty of privacy until we engaged in a conversation. They shared a lot of interesting information about the local and Newfoundland cultures. The conversation was so interesting that we spent a few hours before ending our visit.

Bev has created a b&b that makes you instantly feel at home and able to relax. The rooms are clean with tv, en suite and good WiFi. Breakfast is delicious, but you can also help yourself to tea and coffee and baked goodies all day long! Bev has made date squares, fruits scones and rhubarb tart whilst we stayed there - all of which were delicious! Would highly recommend staying there.

The rooms were immaculate, the common room where you could play games and drink tea and coffee was cosy and had beautiful views and last but not least Bev’s cooking was amazing! The breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and homemade jams as well as bacon, eggs etc. But there was also always a selection of freshly baked goodies, perfect for when you have come back from a long walk and fancy a cup of tea and a scone 🙂 Bev was such a brilliant host and had a very warm and welcoming B&B.

We had a wonderful time at No Charge For The View. Bev is amazing, not only did she drive to meet us when we couldn't find the location of the B&B, she also made calls to find an open restaurant for dinner. Our original plans were to stay one night but the breakfast, hospitality, and room were second to none. And the sunsets are gorgeous!

Myself and a friend got stuck in a snow storm and Bev was willing to take us in for the night unexpectedly without a reservation and all. Wonderful and accommodating people! Felt just like home! And dont get me started with the view! Watched the sunrise over the water from a large window and it was fantastic! 10/10 would recommend
