Stayed here in early Fall while passing through Harbour Grace. We were given a room in the adjoining building to the hotel. The room was big and clean, beds were comfortable with plenty of towels and hot water. We never ate at the hotel's restaurant but for what it's worth, there seemed to be a steady flow of people in there and the smell of the kitchen from the lobby was heavenly. There's a small, very clean bar/VLT lounge beside the lobby. Not much happening in there but it's got a big screen to watch the game and a bit of a 1970's rec room vibe which was fun.

Rooms didn't smell nice upon arrival. Bathroom was what you would expect if it was 50.00 a night. The beds were very uncomfortable and tv didn't have a remote. Thermostat cover fell off the wall. The night clerk was very friendly but the am clerk was very ignorant. We had our Dog with us and made it clear when booking our room. In the morning the clerk made a fuss about the dog and was very unpleasant. Won't be returning or recommending this spot. Give it 0 stars if possible. The carpet was like walking outside and turned your feet black.

The rooms are extremely old, but very clean. We went to Dinner at the restaurant and the service is extremely slow. We sat for 20 minutes before even being acknowledged, no drinks offered. This entire place need to be revamped. It has potentional, but lacks alot of pride.

Great deal for this price. Rooms are clean and spacious. Nice staff! Came with a cat, didn't have any issues.

Motel room was clean and convenient but the phones were not hooked up so we had to venture to the hotel front desk with any questions or concerns.|We arrived for a hockey tournament to play at 6, only to return to the hotel to find out the restaurant closed at 7PM on Friday evenings! Very little available to choose from in the area after 8 even though websites showed open later.|Staff were all friendly and addressed any issues or concerns.|We found out that by calling the hotel direct the room was cheaper even though their website directs you to Expedia to book rooms!

I ate in only at the dining room. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the big portions. However, I ended up with vomiting and diarrhea later that night, as did the person whom I had dined with. I'm not sure if it was the food or the fact I had eaten too much. In the future, I think I would just avoid that dish.

The carpet in our room was so dirty our feet turned black. granted it was a smoking room but the carpet should still be shampooed or something. I dont even think we had clean sheets on the bed as i found a square piece of plastic in the sheets. and the whole building has a terrible smell. the only thing that was good was the ladies at the front desk were nice.

I am reviewing the restaurant only. Our table for 12 was waiting when we arrived. the dining room was quiet, clean, warm & comfortable. The meals were served without delay once everyone had arrived. The server was pleasant and efficient. I ordered pan fried cod with mashed potatoes and it was well prepared and tasty.
