My parents stayed. The suite was nice looking and location was great. The room had no heat and no smoke detectors.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The staff are incredibly kind and do everything they can to accommodate guests.
The rooms were large and spacious, but there was some peeling happening in the washroom and the wifi was not ideal. Breakfast was lovely, waffle machine, hot breakfast and cereal available but would want more fruit options.

I like this hotel and stay here for business on a regular basis. Suites are roomy and well appointed. Underground parking is perfect for Fort McMurray winters. Staff is terrific. Never an issue at check in. Rates are affordable.

But there are a few problems.

1. The Wifi is horrible. Cant stream anything without it cutting out. I need internet access for work and have to download files often. Again, the Wifi is so unreliable I have to do everything using my data plan.

2. “Fitness” room only has 4 pieces static cardio equipment. No weights.

Overall a good deal for the price. But a few things keeping it from 4 or 5 stars.

Great place to stay. Rooms are comfy. Breakfast wasn't the greatest. They could definitely improve the quality.

called prior to going saying i have a pet and i will be staying with her, was told that it was indeed pet friendly i just needed to pay a small pet fee. ended up having to give up the room i originally asked for to a ground level suite(as a women traveling alone, i did not feel 100% comfortable with this option, but since it was my only one i took it) (if knowing that i would have checked into else where) my suite was roomy, generally clean, and staff were friendly. No issues there. They even greeted me with pop and a hand written note!! Very sweet. Unfortunately, we noticed Our hotel bathtub was completely rusted out, Ended up not bathing or taking a shower the night i stayed. Was kinda off putting and gross/ Next part, not generally the hotel's fault; But there was a man circling the hotel parking lot Attempting to approach me while i was taking my dog to go pee and have a smoke. If i did not have my dog for protection, he would have persisted. Made me not want to leave our hotel room unfortunately.

I will rate my stay a 7/10 for alot of the issues i felt were safety issues surrounding the building for myself. And the cleanliness of the bathtub really threw my night off.

But besides that, clean beds, 2 tvs, roomy, and staff were generally friendly.

Checked in at 3. Went up to our room to find that it had a portable A/C unit propped up on one of the nightstands which had been moved in front of the window as the hotels A/C was no longer working. Checked closer to find it draining into the recycling can which was behind it and overflowing onto the floor. Didn’t think much about it so we left the room to go for supper came back later in the evening to find another litre of water had collected in the a/c drain bucket so I dumped it again. Sat in the room for about 30 minutes and my allergies started going nuts and the room had a strange musty smell to it. I then suggested to the rest of the family that maybe we shy leave and by the time we packed up the kids were also complaining of stuffy noses. And sore throat’s. went to the front desk to inquire about checking out and was told no problem but you will be charged for the night. Described the issue again with the clerk and was told sorry would you like a printed bill or email no discount will be applied. When leaving check other units out and seen many with windows propped open and a/c units propped up in front of windows. Would I recommend this place definitely not there are way better places to stay for a slightly higher price and definitely well worth it.

Would definitely stay here next time I am working in town. Staff were amazing. So professional and helpful. Breakfast is different every day but really fresh and a great selection. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. 10 minute walk to Los of eating places, mall etc
