I just want to give the biggest shout out to the owner Jessie. Our family had a death in the family and we live 10 hours away. My sister called the Tavern and the owner hand delivered the food to our family's house without hesitation. Just such a caring, honest down to earth business with such compassion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time out of your busy schedule in such a delicate situation. And our family loved everything you prepared for them ❤️

I absolutely love this place! I moved out of Fort McMurray several years ago and have not been back, but I recently found myself working in the area again. Renee was the server working and even though I haven't seen her in many years I was immediately received with a very warm welcome! The staff are just 1 part of what makes this place a great experience and Renee in particular is stellar at what she does and full of youthful exuberance! What a friendly girl!

I came here to write a review on the food. Their bacon cheeseburger is one of the best and I crave it. I wish other restaurants made burgers as good as this. And I travel all over Western Canada for work. I put their burger as my #1 Fave! It's made in house, it's big, cooked well and not soggy / dripping wet when served. The large slices of bacon really make this item shine!

The beer selection here is great as well. All in all, I feel like the owner of this establishment really gets what a great pub should be. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food and great drinks!

I will always stop by when I'm in the area!

Tavern has a great choice of food options, everything is delish! They have an amazing beer selection! The staff are super friendly and very approachable our server Vanessa knew everything and was one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time! 100% will be returning to tavern again!

Great locally owned Tavern, that has been in operation for many years. The atmosphere is similar to the TV show CHEERS.

Our bartender Vanessa was so friendly and helpful! She really went above and beyond to make the night memorable. Food was amazing!! Love a spot with a kitchen open past 10pm.

Cannot get any service sat for ever waiting’ we went got our drink at the bar the waitress was really nice but the other staff are snobby who can’t be bothered to wait on you if your not their friends or right colour I guess ‘ this was on $17 steak bites.

Came in for lunch had the Thai wonton chicken and it was delicious. The mushroom soup was fantastic also. My server was Kirsten, she was very sweet and recommended the Thai wonton chicken. Definitely will be coming in again

Tavern on Main has been a fave of mine since they opened their doors. The staff are so personable, they make you feel like part of the family! And the food? Well, Steak Night on Thursdays is a must-do, plus you have an opportunity to enjoy a lot of our local talent participating in “Open Mic Nite”! Highly recommended.
