Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience with my nails, it's $70 plus tax for an express manicure here without gel or shellac just for normal polish. Which is super expensive and they do not have the tools here to do nails at all. I think they should probably remove nails all together here or charge a fraction of the price for them and purchase some more tools to provide a proper maicure/pedicure. It does say they do gel nails but the polish is not gel and on my second application they were able to remove the 'gel nails' with normal nail polish remover, I'll be lucky to get a few days without them peeling.

I did return back today to have them re painted as after the first attempt were really bad quality.

The second time around they are better but still I could achieve these results at home with the basic tools I have. It did take over an hour and a half to re paint my nails and let them dry which is ridiculous.

Im sure the other treatments would be okay but nails are deffinetly not there specialty.

My eyebrows were really good, Sydney did a amazing Job with my eyebrows.

On the plus side staff are accommodating and lovely.

Loved my facial! This space is a mini spa and it feels like you are tucked away on a retreat even though you are right on the Main Street of Yellowknife! Not only is the staff professional but they are all so nice! I recommend!

While the staff here are very friendly, my experience was bad. Im new to Yellowknife and decided to try this spa for gel nails and I get my nails done every 2 weeks regularly . This spa is not equipped to do gel nails and charges almost $100 for gel nails. My technician did not have an automatic nail filer so had to remove my gel nails manually with a nail filer. The gel polish brand they use is terrible. I needed 4 coats to get the color on the demo and it still looks terrible I can still see my nail bed color.
This spa is not equipped to do gel nails and I believe should not be offering it as a service. Owner is cheating her customers into paying so much but is not willing to provide the appropriate product

Nice place, conveniently located and they have a massage chair for pedis. If you’re solo, be warned that you may end up sitting and staring at a stranger for an hour. The aesthetician was great. Four stars instead of five because they don’t do gel polish and despite wearing shoes most of the week, my polish chipped within a few days. Wish they offered gel.

The spa has such nice ambience. The staff are friendly and professional. They are in such demand so book in advance and you won't be disappointed. The spa pedicure I received was top notch. I enjoyed the massage chair for the full 2 hours and Barbara gave the most wonderful calf and foot massage. I've already rebooked.

I had an appointment with Sydney a few weeks ago. She mentioned she was a new employee at the spa. I had a super positive experience with her. She had a great energy about her, was super kind and made me feel comfortable. I look forward to booking with her again

If you want a spa experience that leaves you beaming and glowing and in love with life all over again, this is the place to be. The ladies at Etandah Spa are amazing at what they do. The owner is so professional & I always enjoy being showered with kindness whenever I enter this locally owned business.
