First time trying Mitchell’s cafe and it was delightful. Starting with the food and it was fresh and delicious. I love some fresh bread and we got the fresh made sandwiches. I got the chicken pesto and the wife got the egg salad sandwich. The both sandwiches tasted amazing and the ingredients were freshly sourced. Cappuccino was very frothy and was only 1/2 cup full. The service was very friendly and a lot attention was paid to the details. The atmosphere was pretty old

It's still a very popular place, but I used to go there when it was a very eclectic, sit down eatery.

That being said, it's now a walk through sandwich joint with fair weather outdoor seating. Still one of my top choices in McMurray to eat! And the best tuna sandwich I've ever had!

Went here on accident and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere was neat and eclectic with a cozy vibe. I had the farmhouse sandwich which was great. The pulled pork wasn't over powering and the turkey breast made a substantial meal. The house mad sauce blends perfectly with the other flavors for a great fresh tasting sandwich. The strawberry rhubarb cinnamon roll was pretty good as well. I would have liked for it to be a tad more moist but thats a personal preference. The caramel mocha latte was a nice finishing touch. Highly recommend eating eat.

All I really mostly get from here is the Hot Chocolate these days, which is pretty damn good. Other than that their pastries are awesome as well. Do recommend if you'd like to have a coffee as they do have seating outside, which is nice in the warmer months. It is also quite a quaint location, considering it is downtown.

This place is amazing! Their sandwiches are homemade right down to the bread! The pizza is sooooo delicious. Make sure you also try their homemade potato or macaroni salad!! Desserts are mouthwatering!! This has to be one of my favourite places in town!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Fort McMurray GEM 💎

This place adds to the community of Fort Mack. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. It's the type of place you walk into and you don't care If it's crowded because the smell of all the fresh food makes you want to talk tk the person next to you who's waiting on their sandwich or soup etc. You can see what they have for fresh baked goods or their cold salad and foods they offer in their fridge for you to take home. There is seating outside on nice days. Staff are welcoming and always friendly. The menu offers something for everyone. Everything is fresh. Prices are fair and wait times aren't bad at all. Definitely will be back to try more. Carrot cake was amazing! Follow them on social media to see specials of the day!! Honestly amazing sandwiches hot and cold ones!
