I am a Luxury Travel and beauty writer for a lot of magazines and newspapers and I had to go to Canada for personal reasons and I had the most amazing massage here in this beautiful beautiful spa called Spasation in Edmonton. MY massage therapist, Jessica, turned out to be Polish just like me and we connected about that, but on so many other levels and it was a deeply healing healing massage— as soon as she met me she just hugged me and she said to me “you are seen” and I was able to talk to her about a lot of deep things and get rid of all the toxins in my body and yes, I shed a few tears as I so frequently do with healing Soft massage. It was a fantastic
experience here in Canada I have to return for a few more trips and I will definitely come back here. They also do Botox! It’s just beautiful. And also the products used here are very very high-end, including MILKSHAKE for hair, which I absolutely love, Moroccanoil and Thalgo from France. A FIVE-STAR GOLD EXPERIENCE!!! Plus I got a great blowout too!

I go for massages with Rhianna. She’s amazing. Very attentive and super friendly. Knows exactly what to do to work out the knots in my back. The front desk staff are always friendly as well

I had a great time at Spa Station. The staff were super nice and made me feel relaxed. The place was calm and the treatments were amazing. I 100% recommend!

I went for hair styling and make up yesterday. My hair was amazing, Mario did a great job replicating the hairstyle I showed him in a photo and it took him no time at all to complete the look. My make up however was horrible. I showed the artist a make up look with brown smokey eyes and dewy korean finish particularly on blush. I ended up looking like I work on streets if you know what I mean. The staff keeps saying you look great etc. But we all knew the make up wasn't good at all. I went home and my partner didn't like it too so I ended up removing the make up and re do it myself. Will not go back for make up here, very disappointing.

The only thing indulgent and luxurious about my experience was the price. My review is specifically for gel nails. The lady was really nice and when I was there it looked like she had done a great job but being rushed I didn't get a good look at them until I got home. She said that one nail was crooked and that it was my natural nail and not the one she did, but I can see that atleast 4 of them are not straight. I had asked for coffin shape but they are more significantly more square. The texture of the gel nails is more bumpy than smooth and she gave me two cuts around two nails that sting. One nail also has a hole and because she rushed the gel polish didnt set properly so it's peeled back and the uncured gel underneath is exposed.

Normally when I get my nails done at the nail salon I usually go to they clean up the cuticles and lotion your hands and massage them and still give you a manicure to make you look and feel good along with the nails. None of that was part of the experience here where I paid more for a rushed job and no manicure. I wont be coming back for experience that came with the price.

Honestly really disappointed with how they handled their business here I went for a couple massage they didn’t ask for our insurance until after the massage was done and then proceeded to tell us they can’t bill our insurance companies which is a huge insurance company just to find out one of the girls who gave us a massage isn’t even fully certified to give massages so we can’t be reimbursed by our insurance company which is something they should have let us know prior to will not be returning
