I took a 4 day vacation with my 2 "older teen" daughters, along with my brother and his daughter and her friend, and also my friend and her mom and daughter and we all enjoyed our stay there! Debbie and Brian are great hosts! All the five kids (they are actually teens and teen plusses) enjoyed their successful fishing excursion with Brian at Cold Lake! The ladies and I enjoyed our boat tour! I love that they share their beautiful property and are such welcoming and down to earth hosts! If you love nature and a beautiful surrounding, and enjoy fishing or visiting the "White" sand beach at Cold Lake Provincial Park, this local, privately owned Bed and Breakfast in Alberta makes for a GREAT LOCAL GETAWAY! ❤️ (And yes, the Instagram worthy picture of the Main House and "little" brook was taken by my daughter! ❤️

Went on a fishing charter with Brian and have to say he was excellent! Super fellow, had us on lake trout from the go, took great care of us all day and made us lunch to boot! Boated 34 fish that day… Just fantastic!

I'm ashamed to say that I have lived in Cold Lake for over 20 years and have never taken advantage of the groomed ski trails out at Hamilton House. That was a mistake! What a great way to spend an afternoon in the great outdoors!! It was simply beautiful (complete with grouse, woodpeckers and a moose!) The trails are well maintained and the experience would still be a bargain at twice the price. I enjoyed the peace and solitude of a solo ski, but it would also make an excellent family outing. I can't thank Brian and Debbie enough for allowing public access to their beautiful property.

Brian and Debbie are two of the greatest people you will ever meet. Their facility is first class. We spent two half days fishing with Brian and i will say he knows what he is doing and took us to the fish for an unforgettable time. He is a pleasure to spend time with and really works hard to make sure his clients are very well looked after. We had so much fun that we are already planning to go back this summer. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay at a first class facility. As their sign in the front entrance say's "Arrive as guests and leave as friends" and they live up to that for sure.

Your hosts, Brian & Debbie are simply wonderful! A most accommodating couple and comfortable stay. We stayed in one of their RV sites for 4 days. The day we checked in, they invited us to join their family at the July 1st fireworks in their 'special' spot. They made us feel right at home, right from the get go. I also got to do my laundry there without having to go to town, and Brian pumped out our trailer before we left. A lovely spot, picturesque yard, intriguing house, & lovely people...one couldn't ask for more.
