Our group ordered barge burgers. Good service, good food, it came nice and hot! Cool little pub. Could have a better selection of craft brews. It would have been nice to see a few NWT brews.

I'm really not one to post negative reviews, even if the experience isn't that good I usually just let it be and give the establishment the benefit of the doubt. But this experience was so bad I'm still thinking about it a month later haha the food was ok and the atmosphere was as well (fairly busy on wing night) but the waitress was honestly a nightmare. From the very beginning she spoke to us like we were somehow inconveniencing her by just being there, huffing and puffing, rolling her eyes. I won't go into details but she was very unprofessional, I've never been talked to like that before... especially in a setting like that. It was bizzare. She really shouldn't be working in this industry. I thought she was maybe having a bad day but I was with some local people who said that this is typical behaviour. I would definitely not return here.

Maybe I'm sheltered, but had my first Monte Cristo sandwich today. This is probably the most unhealthy sandwich ever, but darn it was delicious! Served with a small bowl of home made chicken soup. Simple lunch but I was really impressed.

The cherry on top here was the waitress that was run off her feet that managed to refresh our drinks. I've eaten here before, but today was really good! Will definitely be back for lunch again.

My mom and I stopped here for lunch before getting on the road as everywhere else was closed for the holidays. I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism like we had here. The tall lady who served us barely came to our table, she forgot cutlery, our glasses sat empty for over 15 minutes and she never quality checked us. The food was sub par at best and the Caesar salad was severely rusted. We sat for 10 minutes waiting for our bill and we actually had to get up and find her to pay our bill. When I advised her of the salad she didn’t apologize or offer to discount the bill! When I asked her why and she said that I didn’t tell her till now. I explained she she never came to our table and neglected to quality check us so that is not our fault. Quality issues are never the guests problem and should be rectified with out a fight. She refused to do anything and even went as far as becoming argumentative and dismissive. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Ordered a Thai chicken salad and it wasn't like the description on the menu at all. I mentioned it to the server and he didn't really compute what I was saying so I ended up paying full price for a salad that was not what I expected. It's a pub though, order pub food and you'll probably be better off.
