It's no 5star high end place but that's not what I was after on this stay anyways, the bed was comfy and has the basic amenities that you expect from a hotel. For the price you pay it's a great little small town hotel and the staff are friendly, you got the Chinese place right below and the pub attached if that's something you're after at the end of the day. Will definitely keep this place in mind next time I'm up here

the location is alright for being located in a small town it is not a 5 star hotel so dont go in thinking it is . the hotel needs to work on getting some cleaners as the two rooms me and my family stayed in where disgusting to be truthful pubes in the bed ... bathrooms where not cleaned stains on the shower cutrains dirty mop water sitting in the hallway . the second room we were moved to the bed were cleaned but the room recked of smoke. the bathroom was filthy the toliet seat was falling off the bathrooms had not been cleaned the cleanly ness of the hotel is the majour thing that needs to be focused on other than that the upgrade are nice this was my familys first stay here on nov 11th

Haven't been to Lamont in a long time, came to visit some family who didn't have the room. Very surprised at the overall changes they made. The entire place from the rooms to the bar to the restaurant have been renovated and are super clean now. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant itself had pretty tasty food for a good price. The rooms aren't as cheap as they used to be, but for the upgrade it's definitely worth it.

This hotel has been newly renovated and it looks great. We rented a few rooms for our wedding party and everyone was very happy with the accommodations. My best friend and I rented the jacuzzi suite for my wedding and the room is stunning and huge. The jacuzzi was wonderful and the bed very comfortable. We had plenty of room to get ready and spread out all the wedding paraphernalia. There was also plenty of room to host a few people before dinner. Everyone was in awe of the space and appearance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation.

Beautiful renovations in the restaurant and lobby. It's still a work in progress but we were told all the rooms should be ready in March. The restaurant is all redone, food was excellent and the staff was excellent. The menu is fantastic with a wide variety of selections. Best menu I have seen in a long time. We had war wonton soup, ginger beef, spring rolls and were given a complimentary curry chicken. All were very tasty.

We went to the Ukrainian Festival in Lamont and stayed here. The staff were friendly and and the room was very clean and updated. There was new flooring, bed, and bathroom fixtures. The bed had a thick mattress that we had to jump into it, and was very comfortable. We had a really good sleep that we both slept in. For under $80 it was a very good deal for a good nights sleep.

The hotel itself... besides the fact it takes anywhere from 15 minutes or more just to have someone come over to you standing there waiting... while they can clearly see your requiring help and waiting for any of the hotel staff to come over ... and out right decide to ignore your existence as if they are trying to make a point that only they don't value their customers at all or the potential business opportunity once you walk thru the door... I wouldn't suggest it.

ALTHOUGH, THE BAR THATS CONNECTED AND HAS A DIFFERENT MANAGER, THAT GUY IS AWESOME. Super friendly, very attentive to anyone there, personalizes the experience and makes u feel welcome, and i cant wait till he takes over the restaurant from the hotel.

Seems as of the current moment the old owner from the hotel side.. provides a huge hit an miss menu.. gone there and my food (chicken fingers and fries) wasn't even fully cooked, cold in the middle.. swore I'd never eat there again after that..

BUT if the bar manager takes over, I'd be willing to give it another try!

It was a great stay on this newly-branded and fully-renovated hotel. Very nice staging with a beautiful Jacuzzi on their presidential suites. Staff was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Great food in the restaurants and wonderful bar and lounge! Over all, was an exceptional stay and would highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a place to stay in town!
