I always love leaving reviews. I love coming to Wildcard Shack when I'm in town. I love the pub grub, if I have ever had an issue with the food, they always correct it. It's always a gamble trying new foods. And as always, if it's not my taste, that's on me. I can always make recommendations to improve something if I feel it can be improved.

The servers have always been phenomenal and treat you with respect. If they are being short with you, adjust your attitude or go the F home before you embarrass yourself.

The Wild Card Shack is an absolute gem! The pub has a welcoming atmosphere, the food is fantastic, and the card readings add such a unique and fun touch. The owner, Rhys, is incredibly welcoming and has a way of making everyone feel right at home. I’ve even made a great friend in Rhys, and our dogs have become best friends too! It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy amazing food, and have an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend checking it out—you won’t be disappointed!

I am astonished by the way you respond to patrons of your establishment who have a genuine complaint. To call people names and tell them they are "banned" simply for leaving a poor review really depicts who YOU are as a business owner. It also shows that you do not value all customers. For a pub, generally, a food order should be up and served within 15 minutes of order. Any longer, the server or management should be over apologizing for the delay and offering something to make up for the delay. You do not blame customers for complaining, you accept the criticism, and then you make amends and rectify the issues.
I have read all your reviews and responses, and I find it very off-putting. It seems you have many complaints about the same thing. Food order takes way too long and is cold, or not cooked properly. You then choose to attack the patron who complaints rather than fixing the issues within your business. Very sad. I won't waste my money in your establishment.

Response to the owner: not sure who you’re referring too, but when I was there, my food was undercooked, dishes that were served to me were not clean and the wait time for my food was extremely unexceptionable!
I was being nice to not leave a review and only a rating but it’s clear after reading your other reviews that this is a common problem. Furthermore, it also appears that you degrade individuals who leave negative reviews and you must make fake accounts to appear better than what your establishment actually is.
I was with four other workers who could also write their poor reviews as well if you like!
So instead of ridiculing me (a worker out of town), grow a pair and accept responsibility.

I was there recently and had amazing service from Taylor. She was so kind and very helpful when I didn’t know what to get. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Will definitely be back!! 10/10 would recommend

Halloween decorations were amazing, loved the spirit and the wings were delicious as always!

Definitely recommend their spinach and artichoke dip! Was not expecting hot and fresh tortilla chips, so good!

Also their Tasmanian devil balls are such a tasty appetizer, you have to try them at-least once!

Staff is always very kind and attentive!

We just recently moved to the area and decided to drop by Friday evening with a friend who was visiting from out of town. First off ! WOW, what a cool joint ! really dug the atmosphere and the look of the place and it happened to be trivia night so...bonus ! Wasn't very busy, we sat down and ordered some drinks and appetizers right away. First the beer I ordered was not in stock, no biggie ! ordered another and another aaaaand another as an hour past with out any appetizers. The place still isn't very busy, but we are having a good time so whatever ! food arrived....... Nachos were stone cold, like the cheese may have been melted 20-30 minutes prior ! Stuffed Yorkshire pudding must have been half under heat lamp and half not because only 2 of the 4 were ice cold. The saving grace was the wings, which we asked to have the nachos and Yorkshires taken away and replaced with them instead. All and all a decent night, although with less drinks in the system I don't think we would have been quite so content ! with all the positive reviews we expected a bit more from the food. Will we be back ? not sure ! Is this a good review ? or a bad review ? The night started out as a 5 star goggle review, but over an hour wait for pub food and to have 75% of your order uneatable....

We stopped in here for a quick bite & beverage on our way home the other day. After hearing about the great wing selection and how hot they make them my Fiancé was thrilled (We can't find any local pub that can make "suicide" wings any hotter than Frank's) He had the suicide and they were divine! Crisp and saucy exactly how we make our own at home. Five star, can't wait to come back & try more flavors.
We loved the atmosphere and were greeted right away, our server was super pleasant! She was quick to share that the kitchen had a soup competition going on and really sold me there. (I love a good soup) I had the Land and Sea Wonton, the broth was very flavorful and veggies all crisp and fresh. Only feedback here were a couple of the wontons had some chewy connective tissue in them, otherwise flavor was Exceptional. YUM
We will definitely be back to try some more.
Great little spot for cold beer and cozy cabin atmosphere.
