My family and I went to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and the experience was amazing. The dinner was delicious, with exquisite flavors that everyone enjoyed. Congratulations to the chef for such excellent preparation! We also want to give a special thanks to Dylan, the server who attended to us. He was warm, kind, and very helpful, making our evening even more special. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you for making this day such a wonderful experience

Had the special Thanks Giving 3 course meal. Soup was a lobster bisk (was delicious but a touch spicy). The salad was delicious. Turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing were very good. The Pumpkin Cheesecake was delicious. Felt like it was a touch pricey for the drinks.
There were plenty of zero proof drinks.

So impressed! The food was interesting and flavourful. Everything we ordered was top notch. It’s also rare to come across a restaurant with farm to table ingredients and quality that’s open for lunch.

I ordered the three course lunch menu and couldn’t believe the value for the dollar. The sunchoke soup was nutty and the Parmesan crisp added just the right crunch. The vegetable tart with goat cheese and seasonings were delightful. The dessert was a great way to end the meal.

My daughter had the chicken and waffles and the waffles stayed crispy! The slaw had a bit of a kick which was perfect.

My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and reports that it was delicious, especially the aged cheddar bun and that the fries were crispy.

Decidedly average pizza. Nothing stands out. Basic sauce and cheese. Nothing special about the dough or crust. Pepperoni lacks flavour. The bake was done well, there just isn’t any taste to speak of. This Za squeaks into the middle tier of pizza offerings in Canmore, but barely. Certainly better the Patrinos and CPU, but not better than any others. At $23, this was a very disappointing experience. I like the atmosphere and service here, but the pizza is bland.

Made a reservation for the valentines special. Ordered halibut and a steak as mains. Appetizers were decent but very slow to come out. Main course took just a few minutes under an hour to arrive. Steak had no seasoning whatsoever, potatoes were cold and broccolini was not cooked at all. Halibut was over cooked and rubbery, sauce was good but rest of the dish was undercooked. Noticed the table next to us complain about the food quality as well. Service was very lacklustre as our drinks sat on the bar waiting to be delivered for nearly 20 minutes before being brought over. Even after raising our concerns the manager was no where to be seen and seemed to avoid the situation entirely and remained in the kitchen the majority of the almost 2 hours we spend there. At no point did he make an effort to correct the situation. Thankfully we were refunded the price of one special but overall a very poor experience with what seemed like no effort to remedy the situation throughout dinner.

Very casual place located in Canmore inside the hotel. We chose this place delighted by the menu, however, it was not fully as expected.

We started with the smoked salmon dip, and ir was surprisingly good, cream cheese mixed with salmon giving a dense texture to your palate. The chips for the dipping were nicely fried, crunchy and not oily at all.

We continued with the prawns, a very simple plate including oven grilled jumbo shrimp (4 units) accompanied by two toasted bread slices and a cilantro and chili sauce. Quality of the prawns were not excessively good, having some parts uncooked due to not keeping then enough time grilling. Still, this is a good plate to share in a meal.

After the shrimp, we ordered the bison burger, wanting to try this type of meat so typical in the area. I found myself I bit disappointed when I tried the patty because it seemed to be a frozen precooked patty you can buy in the supermarket. The bun was soft, lightly toasted and tasty when biting this burger. Fries on the side, well seasoned, not salty, but again, they were frozen and not hand cut.

Which really surprised me from this place was the dessert. And it is definitely my recommendation from this restaurant. The tarte tatin was incredibly good, cooked at the moment, warm when served, a good portion, accompanied with caramel and vanilla ice cream. Definitely a must try if you stop by Rythm & Howl.

The service and staff was attentive, standard, and we were treated very well.

Price for this restaurant I would say is a bit high for the quality offered in each plate Quantity is good and portion/sizes served are ideal for casual meal. I would recommend ordering 1 appetizers, 2 mains and a dessert for a party of two.

We enjoyed several meals at Rhythm and Howl during our stay at the hotel. Will our server was fantastic and very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly with great recommendations and service. Every food dish we tried was fantastic as well a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and a great wine and beer list were available.
We took breakfast to go and ate in the lobby by the fire with our dogs which was very nice. They were very accommodating for a dairy allergy and modified dishes. The happy hour specials in the afternoon and evening were very cost effective and a variety of food and drink options. Highly recommend a visit!

My wife and I had the best time sitting at the bar here! From the moment we walked in, it just felt like the perfect spot to unwind. The atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming—definitely the kind of place you want to hang out at.

And the food? Oh man, everything we tried was fantastic! Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could tell they really put thought into each dish. We were seriously impressed.

But what made the night even better was the staff. They were so friendly, fun, attentive, and really added to the great vibe. We’ll definitely be back for more of that amazing food and awesome atmosphere!
