This is such a gem of a B&B in Lacombe. The house and location is beautiful; the suite is large and comfortable with all sorts of interesting artwork and items, including an antique organ!

The B&B is wonderfully located besides a picturesque lake, and guests are provided two lakeside chairs to enjoy the view. Dianne and Dwayne are friendly and helpful hosts, and they make such delicious and freshly made breakfasts. My husband and I know which B&B to return to when visiting Lacombe!

We have stayed at Elizabeth View Bed and Breakfast many times - actually around 10 times I think... That right there confirms how wonderful each and every visit has been. Dianne and Dwayne have always been excellent hosts. The breakfasts are elegant and delicious. The unit is the size of a 2 bedroom suite with lots of room and comfy chairs. Both bedrooms are comfortable. The suite is tastefully decorated with artwork by Dianne and their daughter.

Another great thing about this B&B is that it is on Elizabeth Lake (hence Elizabeth View!). in season, Adirondack chairs are positioned in the yard so that visitors may enjoy the lake. Plus a hike around the lake starts right outside the property.

While we have stayed there in various seasons, winter is special because, on request, Dwayne lights up the wood stove providing extra comfort. We would recommend Elizabeth B&B 100% and would go back tomorrow if travels were to take us back to Lacombe!

Had a wonderful time here. Four of us stayed for two nights. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The great room was cozy and spacious. My friend who plays strings was pleasantly surprised when Dwyane brought over an unique banjo for him to play. Diane was super nice and caring.
We traveled around the area and came back happy and tired to the B&B.
The lake side trail just behind was also quiet and nice.
Surely loved the place and highly recommend to all.

Besides the spacious bedrooms and comfy beds the main area has an eating area, a TV area and a library area! We were 3 adults with stuff and felt we had lots of room. Just a short walk across their lawn takes you to a well maintained, treed trail around Elizabeth Lake. Dianne is a wonderful host with that ability to be attentive without being invasive. And did I mention the breakfasts? Wonderful.

The Elizabeth view is an awesome place to stay if your visiting Central Alberta or even a major city although edmonton is a bit closer. The structure itself is very solid, very well built by a master craftsmen Interior hints at Irish roots. The accommodation whether its for an overnight oil field construction job or an audit course at one of the several educational institutes nearby is just exactly perfect The View has both quiet time couples rooms or family of 10 rooms.Cleanliness is kept to a shine by some of the finest cleaners around . The owners provide a warm comfortable environment with a great firepit usually stocked with a couple of local folks byob or throw the frisbee on the green space plenty of nature hanging around. Stick around for a steak or fish fry great place to unwind on one of the decks balconies rock paths or tea in one of the rooftop dormers. Whenever I'm in Lacombe i always pop over to Rosedales Elizabeth View and say hi to the Great Family that operates this wonderful establishment 10/10

We had a great stay here. It was a very peaceful and relaxing retreat from a busy weekend. The breakfasts were delicious!!!
