My kids love Artistique playschool. My oldest has attended since he was 3, (now 6) and the teachers/staff have been nothing but wonderful to my kids. My kids are always excited to tell me what they have done regarding crafts and what they do during play.

My kids have some anxiety when it comes to me dropping them off anywhere but not at Artistique, they love their teachers and have a lot of fun. I noticed my son going from having no interest in writing his name to recognizing his name when printed and learning to write it! I was beyond happy with his learning and it’s all because of Artistique.

Dar has been amazing to me and my family and would recommend this playschool!

Well I signed up my two kids back in June or July of this year (2021) and received my invoice to pay. So I paid and waited till September here. So today sept 9 was the first day for beginner rec and junior rec to start. Great .....until we showed up that is. We walk in and the owner was at her desk. She came over and asked how old my son is. He said he is 2 years old but he will turn 3 in 15 days. Apparently according to their insurance the kids have to be 3 within the 30 days of the start date. Which my son will be. He is potty trained by the way. Another one of there requirements filled. However the owner stated to me that "yes he has to be 3 within 30 days for the insurance, however my instructors have never dealt with kids so young. The kids are usually 3 for weeks before they start". There's some information that would have been nice to hear back in June or July when I signed him up or even if it was stated on their website. In my opinion.....not really sure what will change in 15 days .....either the instructors can direct and engage the kids or they can't. We will definitely be finding a new gymnastics centre to go too. Here's another tip as well......make sure this gymnastics place has the correct spelling of your email address or you will not be getting the emails they send out even though you received the invoice to pay through the same email. I found that out last year when we were suppose to come with the waivers signed.
Emails, texts and messages should always be welcomed by any club when they deal with the most precious human beings in the world.....our kids. As a parent, you should be free to ask as many questions or to clarify something if needed.
Either the begginer rec class for 3 or 4 years olds is an unparented class or its not. It states on the website that it is unparented ....only to find out by email a few days before it starts that you now must remain in the building. Maybe the website needs to be updated if that's the case.
Well there is some good news: finally after 4 days and lots of emails .....I am successful at getting my full refund back.

Artistique Gymnastics is a wonderful and professional new gymnastics facility in Lacombe, Alberta. The staff is incredible and the smiles on the athletes - from littles to bigs are always huge. I highly recommend this gymnastics club.
