We went as a group and unfortunately they were understaffed that night so it took longer than usual but the food was excellent from the appetizers to the main menu to the dessert it was all very good!

Sat quickly, ordered in good time. Food took soooooo long! Calamari was burnt and taested of old oil. Chewy and hard at the same time!
We waited a long time for our entree and it was just ok. Sauce was a flavorless white sauce . Tails were on the shrimp. Overall I wouldn’t dine here again.
Nerer once did they take the dirstly plates off the table and the table was full of empty plates as seen in the picture.

Waitress told us we couldn't have beef on our nachos, only chicken, the cook over heard and told her he would do what he could to accommodate our order, he did an outstanding job, don't know how but we got beef on our nachos!! Thank you, cook. We enjoyed our meal.

I had the Backyard burger. This was my first time at the Amherst Frank & Gino's. The burger was a perfectly flame broiled thick and juicy Angus patty topped with a bountiful amount of fresh cheddar leading to mouth watering sensations galore. The pickle topped was thinly sliced and presented professionally which isn't something usually given much thought with a burger. The onions and tomato and bun were fresh and crisp. Five star burger, five star service. The server had a great personality, was professional and had a delightful demeanor, though she were overflowing with real world charisma. Total sweetheart. 4 star atmosphere which is exactly what you'd want in a cozy roadside eatery. The patio is excellent on a beautiful day if you don't mind offing a wasp or two while you eat. ? Recommended.

We've been there twice now and absolutely love it! A mo th between visits and the server remembered our names! Totally recommended anyone driving through to visit. You'll be hooked. No joke.
Staff is all very nice and the atmosphere is chill.
Tried the Chicked Carbonara the furst go around, with Italian sausage soup and garlic cheese bread.
Next time around was the Penne Rustica* (I'll double check the name), which was just as awesome!

Overall good with some exceptions.

The interior is well kept and nicely decorated with vintage goods. The layout is relatively well spaced with respect to seating.

Prices are overall good for the portions and food.

We ordered 2 mains one chicken Alfredo and a wrap combo.

The pasta was spot on, good flavor, good portion, overall a well done dish.

The wrap combo was a bit meh. The wrap itself was good, good filling bit a bit heavy on the Mayo. The soup was surprisingly bland given its pretty vibrant color. I couldn't tell what kind of base it was until I fished out some beef. The salad was well assembled and tossed but we did encounter an issue where we were seated without cutlery and it took the server a significant amount of time to return to ask for a fork to consume said salad.

Another point there was a lot of sub menus around, along with the regular menu we had the specials menu, then to our side we had a seasonal lobster one, a "date night" menu, a drinks menu and a happy hour one, kind of a lot to look at.

I express my experience, what I say based on my personal visit. Yours might be different.

The location is the main road is excellent, there is free parking all around the restaurant ? I liked it.
Decorations and layout are cozy and romantic ? ✨️ ?. I like the old style of decorations, it takes me to the old days.
There is a service counter.
Cleanliness was plausible
Time waiting to be seated, it was great. We were seated immediately.
Services, the waitress is knowledgeable of the plate ingredients, can explain it well ? ?, they are very friendly ? ?.
Waiting time to get the order was within expectations.
The plate looks good, and the taste was ? ? delicious.
The prices per order were reasonable and affordable.

In my opinion, if I am around Amherst, I will visit this place again
