Apologies for the late review, but this retreat was absolutely amazing in every conceivable way. My wife and I stayed at Nalu for about five (5) days for our tenth anniversary and we could not be happier with our decision.

From the pod, to the deck, to the amazing view, everything was great. Super relaxing, rejuvenating and just what we needed. Definitely a spa like environment - we never felt like we needed anything, the staff were extremely friendly, but also gave you so much space to be alone.

Not that we wanted to leave the resort, but, we found that it was relatively central to any amenity you may want - the trip into Halifax was quick and scenic, along with other surrounding areas.

If your on the fence, please jump off and commit to Nalu - you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at Nalu Retreat in Dome 2, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The scenery from the dome is breathtaking—sitting on the couch wrapped in a cozy, fuzzy blanket, watching the birds and boats sail by, was one of the most peaceful moments I’ve ever had. The loft was magical at night, with the roof open, offering a perfect view of the stars and planes dancing in the sky, all while curled up in the incredibly comfortable bean bag chair.

My favorite spot was definitely the hot tub. Early mornings spent watching the sunrise over the lake were serene, and in the evenings, feeling the crisp breeze on my face while being fully immersed in the warmth of the water, surrounded by the sounds of the lake and birds, was absolutely perfect.

Another highlight of my stay was the incredible massage I received right in the dome from Tracy. She was absolutely sweet, extremely knowledgeable, and so helpful in every way. I really wanted to take her home with me!! She has the most incredible, positive attitude and sweet personality. It was the perfect addition to an already relaxing experience.

I went on this retreat for some much-needed self-love and reflection, and I cherished every moment of the solitude and warmth the dome provided. Nalu Retreat is a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with yourself, and I’m so grateful for the experience.

We enjoyed the most sublime 3-night retreat in Dome #1! The dome was charming, welcoming, and somehow cozy and spacious at the same time with lovely views over the lake while being utterly private. It is very thoughtfully furnished with everything one is likely to need and has a wonderful relaxed feeling. We appreciated being left to our own complete privacy, and at the same time when we needed advice a couple of times help was promptly, efficiently, and warmly provided, just a text or voice call away. We would endorse this special place to anyone desiring a relaxed getaway in comfortable simplicity.

Everything from the check in process and the prompt communication when we wanted to add services, or had questions about our stay, to the attention
to detail in the beautiful domes, was what we would expect at this price point in this area.

Everything you need or could want is provided and available to make your stay what you want it to be.

We took advantage of their meal and food service and are glad that we did. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were appropriate for the price point.

Nalu was a terrific stay! The owners put so much detail into making the experience perfect. The dome was immaculate and peaceful, the view was beautiful, and the massage was one of the best we've had. It was hands down the most relaxing day I had all year. I would definitely recommend staying at Nalu, and we'll be back!

Nalu Retreat was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. Though the domes seem close together, we did not see or hear another guest at the retreat & felt as though we were the only ones there. The domes are so cozy, the perfect size for a couple to enjoy their time. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the water & stargazing was such a romantic way to spend the evening. The food from Lupin was some of the most delicious food we’ve had in a long time. & the RMT that came to the dome for our massages was so kind & truly made the experience. Would definitely recommend & will definitely be returning in the future.

This retreat exceeded our expectations, the scenery was beautiful. As a person that is always busy and feels uncomfortable when idle, I was perfectly happy sitting and taking in the views. Nalu took extreme measures in so many details of their property, everything with their clients in mind. My wife and I want to make this a yearly visit as we used it to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
