When I was in need of a last minute massage, Kim was so kind as to personally phone me and get me in. Since then, I have seen Gabriel twice, and will keep coming back! I've been seeing massage therapists regularly for well over 15 years. I've had some great therapists and some mediocre therapists, and Gabriel is beyond excellent. Gabriel is a truly therapeutic practitioner. It is evident that he understands how to treat and rehabilitate athletes/those who have sports injuries, chronic tension, and limitations in their range of motion. For me, he was able to treat severe problem areas that I usually rely on aggressive IMS through my physiotherapist to relieve. No other massage therapist has been able to give me long lasting relief in the way that Gabriel has. My shoulders have felt better after seeing Gabriel than they have in years. He asks me to do specific movements during some parts of the massage to allow him to better manipulate the tissue/muscle he is working on. It isn't always pleasant when he treats problem areas, but it is extremely effective. If you are someone who does not like deep tissue work and is looking for a zen relaxation massage with spa music in the background, I would probably select a different RMT. You will not fall asleep during a therapeutic/sports massage with Gabe. However, if you are looking for relief from chronic pain or residual pain from an old injury, Gabriel is your guy!
