The Canadian Brewhouse (Leduc) - Leduc, Alberta

We visited the Canadian Brewhouse in Leduc last Thanksgiving Sunday for lunch and sampled several menu items:
• Donair meat: Met our expectations in both taste and flavor.
• Chicken tenders: Very good.
• Fish and chips: Excellent, though the batter was thicker than the fish.
• Taco: Awesome.
• Triple Eh! in a tiny skillet: Delicious and satisfying.
• Ahi tuna poke bowl: Disappointing, as it featured basmati rice, which isn’t ideal for a poke bowl. For an poke bowl, you can use:
1. Sushi rice (short-grain white rice): Traditional and sticky, it pairs well with the flavors.
2. Brown rice: A healthier, nutty option.
3. Cauliflower rice: A low-carb, grain-free alternative.
4. Quinoa: Adds protein and texture if you want something different. Offering chopsticks;
Sushi rice is the most common choice for poke bowls.
• Garlic fingers: Served free, and they were like a meal in themselves—very filling!

The atmosphere was nice, with a Buffalo head mounted above the door and silver keg barrels on display, adding a unique touch. It was a bit loud for a Sunday lunch, but the setting was enjoyable. The customer service was excellent, making the experience even better. Overall 4stars with room for improvements

We made a reservation for a Friday evening for almost 40 people to accommodate a kid’s sports team. The staff were amazing! The main server was so attentive and made sure everyone always had drinks and their food. She also had the bar manager and another server helping who were great - the manager had a great sense of humour! 10/10 would recommend for a team meal!

Pretty good Brewhouse with excellent service. Had the steak and eggs on the brunch menu and it was pretty good. The best thing was definitely the garlic sauce provided with the steak. The eggs and potatoes were good.

We also got the large buffalo chicken poutine which was huge! I've had it before in a different location and everything tasted good except in other places I remember getting a lot more cheese.

This location also only had half booths instead of the full ones so a bit tight but the restaurant is a lot smaller so understandable.

Lola was very efficient and kind. It was nice that she was personable and took the time to talk about her story and authentically listening to mine. Lola! Thank you for your service and patience please continue to bring peace love and joy with all your interactions. I hope you have a blessed new journey with brewhouse and shine bright with your new job! Remember to take your time and be calm and patient but still efficient.

Grace was amazing! 10/10 service, drinks were never empty, food was amazing and prompt! Grace had a great energy and personality and made it a super fun night! Will definitely be back to see her!

Went there on a Monday night at around 4:30 for dinner with my two daughters. Really dark, cold dead vibe in there. Wasn’t busy at all. Nobody greet us so we just sat down.
We asked to get our order taken when we had our drinks delivered. She said she’d be right back then proceeded to go take two other orders then process a bill and still never came back. Meanwhile another waitress and possibly the manager or bartender stood there like a couple of potted plants talking to each other. They looked over but apparently couldn’t be bothered.
We went over to Original Joes and had the exact opposite experience.

I am never coming here again.
Trying to go out on a nice date with my boyfriend, place is filled with fruit flies, servers are rude and like to back talk about their costumers right in front of them when they are in the wrong.
Serving free pop? When they were in the wrong to try to get a tip.
Utterly disgusting.
Food was the only thing that was good. But turned into food poisoning.

I ordered a steak sandwich well done. Well done means cooked all the way through, not burnt to a crisp and tougher than shoe leather. When I told the waitress (Grace) the steak was too tough to chew she basically blamed me because I was the one who ordered well done. I mean, I've been eating and ordering well done steak my whole life and have never received something that looked like that. I get it, it's hard for some people to cook well done without burning it or overcooking it. But if the cook on deck doesn't know how to do it then just say that so I can order something else off the menu and still enjoy my meal. So I sent back the steak, but when the new one came it was bloody on the inside. I guess those are the only 2 ways they know how to cook steak. Bloody or burnt to a leathery crisp. No in between. Grace did offer to throw it back on the grill for another few minutes but once steak is taken off the heat and cooled and then put back on again it makes it very tough. So I declined. Took the steak home to offer to someone else. (They also didn't like it and we ended up throwing it away) even the toast it came on was just a gross, wet pile of mush. My friend ordered 2lbs of wings and they were also incredibly dry. No juice in them at whatsoever Very, very disappointing meal. $120 for that and no discount offered for the terrible cooking. Won't be back again.
