Pas le temps de profiter de l’endroit plus qui faut j’y ai résidé une nuitée seulement pour le travail et j’ai tres apprécié mon expérience et je recommande cet endroit a nimportequi tres propre bel endroit et tres bon déjeuner!!

Drapes wouldn't close all the way, toilet ran and didn't flush, felt the springs in the mattress. Funky odours seemed to come came standard with room and couldn't get the tv to work. Breakfast was fine, parking was good, the place looks nice, wifi worked and the staff very nice. Kids enjoyed the pool but said the slide isn't awesome (not enough water). The hotel needs maintenance and attention to the rooms. Getting a poor sleep because of a bad mattress, poor drapes and wild odours is off-putting.

The only issue was that the pool and hot tub were overrun by a kids' sports team one evening. However, the staff let us go in before closure and stay past closing time to relax. Maybe make it adults only, no groups 1 hour before closing.

Well we'll well, to begin with the service and front staff where real characters, real chatty and kind! The rooms looked pretty high fashion and tech filled! A nice addition and the free shampoo! How glorious. Now regarding the bathroom it appeared that someone took the QUILT into thr bathroom to WIPE, and the staff left that little stain on there for me to stumble upon and appreciate it, which I did not, not to mention the suspicious white stains around the headboard which is to be expected at any hotel, I would be lying if I said I've never added to those suspicious white stains hehehe, otherwise a excellent hotel and nice rooms and staff. I wish yall could see the picture I took of it!

The place is very beautiful. But we stayed for 3 nights, didn't get new towels, no coffee refill or toilet paper refill. We had to use the room towels for the pool because there were never towels in the pool room. We had to ask the front desk for towels and had to search other floors for the housekeeping cart to ask for toilet paper. We had a double queen room with a kitchen.... there was dirty silverware in the drawer as well.
The continental breakfast was not very good... there was no fruit, it took 20 to 30 minutes for hot food to be refilled as well as the waffle mix, and the coffee was not made properly, so it was like water.
The lady working the front desk with the purple hair (didn't get her name) was very rude. I witnessed her being extremely rude to staff, and she was not approachable for guests.
We did go there during an extremely busy time (the Vermilion Fair) so I can understand the stress that put on the staff.... but I think they didn't plan properly for the circumstances. The kitchen and housekeeping were too short staffed.
I'm sure, under a normal scenario the hotel is much better. The Fair has been going on for 118 years so the Hotel can't say they were surprised that they would be so busy. Guests were booking their stay there a year in advance!

We were looking forward to the triple-double bed we reserved back in December and the confirmation. We were also placed on the waiting list for the second night, Saturday, July 24. However, we were surprised that our reservation had been cancelled upon arrival. This wasn't very pleasant.

We have a room with two double beds, and we are unhappy with six people sharing the space. The toilet flush is also not working properly, and the shower faucet provides a slow water flow. When I called the front desk, they thanked me for the feedback and abruptly ended the call, which indicates this may not be a new issue.

These issues have disrupted our pre-wedding preparations and made it challenging for us to share the shower before the wedding day, which is a significant event for us.

I spoke with people living in Vermilion who mentioned that Pomeroy Inn has a bad reputation. I wish we had known this beforehand so we wouldn't have booked a room again.

Booked a two night stay to attend our son’s graduation , phoned ahead to ask for early check in but due to busy season was told not until 3:00 standard check in . Arrived at 2:50 and were abruptly told that room would not be ready for at least 30-45 min when I mentioned we phoned earlier and were told three o’clock which is the standard check in time front desk very nonchalantly said they had oil field workers checking out that are dirty … they were short staffed and that they were at capacity . Not sure why that information was relevant to relay to us . We returned at 3:50 room was ready and were informed rooms are only cleaned every three days and if we wanted housekeeping during our stay we would have to phone before 11:00 am to see if we could get housekeeping ? Never in all of our years have we had no housekeeping … rude staff at pool area … never anyone at front desk and had to hunt down housekeeping for more coffee and then told to go to front desk for more towels . Not a fan of writing negative reviews but we would definitely not stay here . We felt like an inconvenience from start to end and coming from the hospitality industry ourselves we are very forgiving .
