Was physically and mentally exhausted. Didn’t want to leave hotel (Sandman) to go eat anywhere and I was really craving a steak so I laced up shoes and walked down the hall to Moxies. Had one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in a long, long time. My server Reese was great, restaurant wasn’t noisy and the tenderloin with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and squash was amazing. I can’t overstate how good it was. Pretty damn close to perfect. Thanks Moxies!

So I went to Moxies yesterday for an early supper. Turned out it was happy hour with some food and drink specials. Once again the server, Jessica was great. Friendly and cheerful. I ordered their Steak Frites with a ‘Tropic Thunder’, a non alcoholic drink that was very refreshing. Steak was cooked perfect. Another great dining experience Moxies! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I truly believe this is one of best managed restaurants I’ve experienced in a very long time. I can’t even begin to rave about my experience at this place. Any time I stop into Calgary this will always be my #1 choice. From everyone I’ve dealt with have been absolutely wonderful and so exceptional at what they do. The servers are wonderful. But the management are go a step above any I’ve ever experienced. Thank you so much for my best restaurant experience in a long time 🙌❤️

Great meal. Steak cooked perfectly as I asked for. The online order for some reason canceled as soon as I ordered it. Whomever I spoke with fixed the issue right away and offered to compensate. Fantastic customer service and amazing food!! It’s great when they actually care about the online customers as well. Definitely will order from here again if I’m in Calgary again. Thank you for rectifying this is such a great way 🙏

You guys cook a mean steak! Couldn’t have been more perfectly cooked. Especially having to be delivered too. 10/10 👌

It was an okay Moxies!

Biggest complaint was that we were sat right in front of the opening to the kitchen, and it was EXTREMELY loud. It was literally directly behind us and our conversations were interrupted constantly by pots banging, water running and cooks yelling.

The white chocolate brownie was really gross? Just tasted super odd, the whipped cream was bad and the portion was too big.

My Parmesan truffle fries were fine, but the Parmesan tasted extremely strong and it has a very bold smell to it?

Our waitress was super polite and helpful! The churro ice cream sandwich was absolutely delicious and most definitely my favourite part.

Good service sometimes means being less attentive. Give visitors time to chill...no need to check in so often. Turn down the music and make a playlist that is NOT party music! Have you selected these tunes for your employees or your guests? The constant 'boom boom boom' left me with a headache. Something to think about! The food was your redemption.

I haven't been to Moxies for years bit I was pretty impressed with their menu and the service. It was a decently busy Friday night and the service was good and the food came out quick. The kids burgers were surprisingly big. The white chocolate brownie has been a staple dessert on their menu forever so I had to order it. It's better than I remember. Overall a great experience and their menu has something for everybody.

Honestly, a really amazing experience. I’ve always avoided Moxie‘s being a snob and thinking it wouldn’t be good enough. This is my first time in years.

Wow, was I wrong what an amazing experience. They definitely levelled up their game. The only time I really ever came here was to get med bread and the white chocolate brownie. Last time I actually ate a meal here it was years ago.

I will definitely be back. We got the dry ribs, a burger, and the mango chicken and it was to die for.

All the food came out hot. The dessert is spectacular as always.

Service was so prompt. We got our food so quickly and they were pretty busy so I was worried we’d be waiting a while.

Every food runner asked how it was and if we needed anything else and the server was awesome- friendly and kind definitely come here way better than Earls.

Overall a very nice place to dine, food was good as was the service, slightly pricey compared to other similar restaurants in the area, parking can be a challenge.
