We dined here for the first time for their new years eve menu. The ambience was great and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff gave us a choice of where to sit which was a nice touch. We did get a couple of the wine pairings with the meal, and they were expertly paired! The meal itself was delicious and offered a nice variety of flavors with each course. Very well done. The service was fantastic and all the staff were very attentive. We will definitely be back in the summer to check out the view once the lake is thawed, and to enjoy another meal.

It's one of the most romantic restaurants in Calgary, offering great seasonal food. The staff are very friendly and happily serving.

With a great lake view and elegant interior design, we were served by friendly staff and enjoyed great food.

We ordered Grilled Char, Grilled Scallops, and Ribeye followed by a dessert, Chocolate Cake. The sauces on the dishes were excellent with great flavors.

There is an elevator for seniors and people with disabilities, but we needed to read the instructions carefully to start and stop it. Very interesting…

We enjoyed a lunch at The Lake House. We were greeted by friendly staff that offered to take our coats. We were seated at a lovely table with a nice view of the lake as we had requested on our reservation. Our server was personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. We did not feel pressured to order outside what we were looking to order which is nice. The timing of our drinks and food coming out was comfortable and each dish tasted like it was made with care. Lots of flavour and very satisfying! The rustic atmosphere was really nice and the Christmas decorations were tasteful. An excellent experience!

Our friend had a wedding here back in September, 2024.

They changed the setup in between the ceremony and lunch fairly efficiently. During the setup, guests could go to the patio or have a walk around the facility.

Food was surprisingly good.

Service was excellent. We had to leave a bit early to catch our flight and they could pack our desserts for us to go!

Would love to come back for lunch in the future.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing service. My partner and I decided to try the lakehouse for our anniversary, and we were very glad we did.

The team members are all super friendly, attentive, and prompt.

We were seated by the window which had a stunning view (especially at sunset).

The appetizers are amazing, especially the oysters and oxtail.

Had a wonderful time for our anniversary. Started with the small fish plank, loved the mix of fresh and salty flavors. The ribeye was excellent. I wish we had ordered 2 sticky toffee pudding because I was sad that I had to share it!

From beginning to end the entire journey working with Kirsten at The Lake House has been an absolute pleasure. They always took the time to ensure all my questions were answered, made sure our Menu selections reflected our personal taste, and the venue was elegant, it was a complete dream come true.

The staff was present, engaging, and made sure everyone was taken care of all night long. The bar was fun, alive, energetic & the memories of those conversations will last a lifetime.

Overall Experience was top shelf, 10/10 and I would highly recommend The Lake House.
