When I made my appointment at Appealing Nails, I requested Dan as I had read on-line that he spoke really good English so I knew he would be easy to communicate with.🤣 Plus I also read that he was the owner so I knew he would do a good job on my manicure. I certainly wasn’t disappointed! I got there about 15 minutes early and instead of having to wait for my appointment time, I was taken back right away by someone else who started removing my old Gel Polish. At my appointment time, Dan got there and took over. I hadn’t realized when I made the appointment that morning that Dan was working at his other store, but he came over just because I had requested that he do my nails. The person making my appointment could have easily told me that he wasn’t in that day, but she didn’t. Wow! What great service! Plus, I’m so glad that I requested him. He did such a great job! I have never had anyone take such care and pay such attention to detail as Dan did with my manicure! He truly went above and beyond and together with the lady who helped me until Dan arrived, they spent an hour and 15 minutes on my manicure! I have been to Appealing Nails before but not for a couple or three years because I travel a lot and just get my nails done wherever I am, but from now on, I will make the extra effort to go to Appealing Nails, if it’s at all possible, and request Dan!

I have visited the place for gel polish and not happy with customer service. I showed the design to lady but, she could not make it as her hands were shaking. It was a simple design though but, she tried few times and gave up. I told her that she can make any changes to it but, was surprised to see lack of professionalism. I was going to get nail art on just two fingers as I informed while booking the appointment but, she could not draw just a simple straight line. She was calm and friendly but, does not know nail art at all. Afterwards, she suggested me to get stickers instead. I was not willing to get it all but, she promised me it won’t fade away and will stay longer. Although one of the sticker changed its color just the next day and I called them back and they booked an appointment for next day to fix it. I was heartbroken to see that they don’t have the same sticker anymore and she suggested me to get another one of different color and design on that finger. I was surprised to hear that and told her that it will look so odd to get one different one than the threes. So she put the same sticker on one of the finger for both hands. It was a horrific experience as I still wasted my time after making sure that it will stay the same on the first day while getting it but, still they asked me to pay $5. I don’t want to create any drama at that time while they asked for more money but, it was not my fault at all as they guaranteed something and the color still changed but, still I agreed to pay. Then, they told me to pay $5 cash only otherwise they will charge me $2.50 more which shows how they die for money. Never mind! I paid for it as my brother carried cash thankfully! But, it was absolute horrific experience as I ended up paying more and more for their fault. I know they don’t care and they still gonna blame me but, the gel polish and stickers they put on my nails looks disgusting. I showed my nails to my colleagues and no wonder nobody believed that they were done by somebody professional. I have read the reviews that Cindy and Dan are good but, I want to tell not everybody working there know English language and nail art at all. I won’t waste my time and money again by visiting there as NOBODY CARES OTHER THAN MAKING MONEY AND CHARGING MORE AND MORE!! If you wanna hear rude tone and waste your time you are most welcome to go there!

My sister came home after getting her nails done here, absolutely devastated and disgusted with the way she was treated. She told me that when she arrived the first thing they asked her was “if she can afford this service”. During the service she wanted to use the restroom, and asked where the restroom was. The tech showed her where that was, another lady proceeded to guard the door as if she would steal the nails or something. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour, it may be because of my sister’s skin complexion (Indigenous). No matter if you have been ripped off before this is a terrible way to treat someone who comes to the location for services.

I've been going to this salon for just about two years now and I love it! Dan and Cindy are so so kind and the other technicians are just as sweet! I am never disappointed with the outcome that they create! Amazing talent, perfect execution and great prices (especially because I am a student). I could not recommend this establishment more!

Very sweet people but 3 of my nails are left with a giant bulge/ slant on one side. 1 nail is off center and there was no chrome or pearl finish as discussed. Surveyed my friends just hoping I was overthinking things and they all agree they are very poorly done. They don’t talk through the service much so not much room for communication unfortunately.

Not happy with customer care - Happy enough with the end result: I have had my nails done here several times by Dan. I have now gone elsewhere because he got perturbed with me because my fingers are stiff. (From arthritis and also just not relaxing.) He actually told me it was "too hard" to do my nails because of it. I guess one needs to be a perfect client? My gain though... I've found a better place and much cheaper. (Because $69.00 is pretty steep for an acrylic fill, white tips and his disapproval.)
