I have stayed at many hotels and spend hundreds of dollars a night over the years and Never have I EXPERIENCED a better hotel in my life. From the top , starting with owners and management all the way down to all the staff there , the service is absolutely 10 out of 10. The pool , water slide and hot tub, combined with the daily buffet breakfast included with the stay I promise are the perfect pairing to comfortable clean rooms. The lady at the front desk named Debbie is a wonderful human being and any company should be happy to have such a friendly and helpful employee just as I am sure that Siding 16 Lodge are to have her!! =)

Brought the kids for a quick little getaway for the long weekend. Room was clean, the staff was very friendly and the price couldn't be beat. Kids loved the pool and water slide. We will be back!

Booked my wife and kids a room while they were in wetaskiwin for a sports event. Booked it using bookings.com and paid for it not realizing I put it under my name. They showed up and could not get there room because I wasn’t with them. Spent 4 hours on the phone between hotel, bookings, and Expedia which hotel said I booked with trying to change the name and got told by both companies that the hotel could change the name no problem. Very rude KARREN at front desk would not help or let me speak to manager. They drove 3 hours home at 10 pm and 3 hours back the next day and had to pay for the room.
We have quite a few events over the year in wetaskiwin and won’t be staying at this hotel.

Now the water slide is the greatest thing I’ve ever been on, so fast, so smooth, and a big splash at the end BOOM. The front desk was nothing but nice and went out of their way to return iPads and stuff to us when we forgot it. This hotel would go down in my #1 spot if best hotels every stayed at!!!

Gentleman at front desk was a bouquet of smiles. You could tell he made every effort to be there for the patrons, that his every working hour was about taking care of others. (I'm a treacherous soul that I've forgotten his name. Lovely middle aged man with glasses)

The staff during the Continental breakfast, equally kind, efficient, observant of what needed cared for and refilled promptly, sidestepping clients like seasoned pros.

Our room was in the North building. Cleaning staff there (both when we checked in as well as when we went to leave for our evening activities) were genuine in their care and greetings. Each had been working hard, long hours already, you could tell, and still had much to do, but when they stopped to ensure we didn't need more towels or anything, their eye contact and offers to assist were heartfelt as they wished us a good stay and enjoyable evening.

The rooms and buildings themselves were clean and beautiful. My mom was pleased with the black and white art on the wall of Canadian landscapes.

The beds immediately checked my yes list as they had 4 pillows per bed, which is a love for me.

My mom, a senior who struggles to sleep, woke the next morning and said the beds were so comfortable, that was the best night's sleep she'd had in forever.

Cost of the room was quite reasonable, considering comfort of room, proximity to so many Edmonton area activities the province, breakfast inclusion.

Breakfast had instant porridge, apples, whole oranges, sliced oranges, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, pancakes with a dessert topping bar, yogurt, 3 choices of bread and 3 choices of bagels for toasting. Breakfast cereals were available with dairy milk. Beverages were assorted hot and cold options to suit anyone. They also had a frozen station which has cheese omelettes, eggs bites, plain omelettes and frozen sausage patties available for microwaving. That was the only part that was tricky. Though I could appreciate the environmental and economic utilization of frozen goods in an ice preservation tray, I tried to mic an egg bite and sausage patty according to their posted instructions and the egg bite was perfect but the sausage was overcooked. It was ok as I also had a toasted bagel with cream cheese and some fresh fruit so definitely still a plentiful breakfast.

Lots of families with happy children as affordable, vast enough food selection, pool with water slide.

The breakfast was amazing. My husband can't stop talking about the fresh pancakes and sauces. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed.

There were a few items in this hotel that required repair (access card reader on side entrance, debit machine, dresser drawer) but overall a very nice place. You can tell they've had some nice renovations.

Hot tub could use a good cleaning as it foamed like soap and had some dirt. But we still enjoyed the relaxation.

The staff were wonderful and the rooms were very tidy. They even let us check in 4 hours early without issues.

Thank you for a great stay. We will be back.
