Love this location. Facilities are well kept, and have many options for beverages and dining in the surrounding areas.
Staff are always so kind and professional, and my check in and out process were a breeze. I was able to use the pool and hot tub this stay and both were well kept and clean. Room itself was lovely, my only suggestion would be to upgrade the tv’s but this is not a major issue or reason for a bad rating whatsoever. Conveniently located and accessible by road.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. During our stay, we were accompanied by our large breed dog. We were pleased to find a very spacious, much larger than normal rooms, clean and free of any hair from previous guests pets.
Dog walking areas were close and easily accessible. The breakfasts were excellent with fresh hot items, far better than the continental variety we were expecting and the staff were all very welcoming and so nice. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. On our next visit, we will definitely be returning to stay at this Holiday Inn and Suites!

We had our son’s 4th birthday party here. The private 1.5 hours of swim followed by the banquet room was THE best. All of the kids had a blast!! Michelle from the front desk was extremely helpful & provided amazing customer service. Caitlyn from sales responded quickly & made the planning super easy. I would also like to point out a very clean environment & how well organized the facility is for events. 10/10 recommend for a birthday party!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in St Albert, and it was a fantastic experience for both me and my pet. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It’s a great choice if you're traveling with pets and looking for a stress-free stay. Highly recommended!

Our stay here was excellent. The staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. The whole place was clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect.

This stay was not my best time. The hotel was recommended by the local emergency vet, and I thought 'hey, I can use my travel points.' Honestly, I was so bored. I had to stay in the room with my pet while he recovered from surgery, and the only thing on TV was children's programming. No streaming services available, no movie rentals, not even the food channel or AMC.

Not only that, but coffee was not replenished, there was no bath mat in the room, and I was forced to try to make small talk with the front desk upon check-in.

Then, I realized that I had forgotten my toiletry bag when packing for this emergency trip. The front desk gave me a an emergency toiletry kit that left me sadly disappointed. Really? How difficult would it be for IHG to offer sample kits from Colgate, Goody, and other well known toiletry manufacturers to provide quality emergency kits for traveller's that forgot to pack the basics?

Our family had a terrible experience at this hotel. We booked Friday to Sunday for our son's lacrosse tournament. We have several confirmation emails of the dates booked and somehow they reserved only the Thursday night for us. When we go to the hotel to check in, they said we "no showed" and said they had no rooms for us. I took out my phone and politely said no, we booked Friday to Sunday, and travelled from several hours out of town for this tournament. The concierge asked her co-worker for advice first and he didn't even look at the email and just said "well we don't have it so they can't stay". I asked to speak to their manager and she took my phone to a back room for almost 15 minutes. When she came back, she had a room for us and I thought all was well. After we checked out on Sunday, I had a charge for the Thursday on my credit card anyway. I called the hotel twice and my husband called a 3rd time and all times, they apologized and said they would have the manager contact us to reverse the charges. We never received one phone call back. The rooms were $160 a night and were quite nice but the service was horrible and I will go out of my way to never stay here again. We had our whole team of nearly 16 stay that weekend so I hope they enjoy losing out on future business with us over this.

The stay was great as usual. The beds are comfortable and the rooms very clean. Check in was quick and easy and the welcome bonus points are always a plus. There is a great pool but the gym could use a little work.
