We loved staying in one of the cosy cottages at Hillside Bungalows. Located just off the main street, we were able to park our car and walk into town. The cottage was comfortably furnished and had everything we needed for our stay in Banff. It was great to be able to sit on the patio and enjoy the mountain views.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Hillside Bungalows! The cabin was super cute and the location was very close to downtown with a beautif view of the mountain right from our bedroom! The service was very accommodating and understanding. The only nitpick is that there weren't doors on the bedroom doors, but that wasn't really a problem for us.

Cosy little cabins, close enough to the main drag that everything is walkable but far enough away that nights are quiet. Can’t say enough good things about this place, Chrissy, Jiri and little Bear were so welcoming and truly make you feel at home. Super comfy beds and even though the days were 30 degrees C the cabin stayed cool due to shade from the trees all around. If (when?) we make our way back here we will definitely be staying here again.

My husband and I stayed in Cabin 1 at the Hillside Bungalows for four nights last week. What a delightful place! It was cozy and had everything we needed - a comfy bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a sweet little patio, and a snuggly couch. It was a perfect home base to stage our Banff adventures from. Close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, but far enough away to have some space from the crowds. It was clean and adorable. The bathroom was a little tight, but no problems at all. Chrisy was super helpful and friendly, too. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at Hillside Bungalows with our two dogs and it was great! Such a perfect location within Banff with a gorgeous view of Cascade mountain from the patio and bedroom window. The cabin had everything we needed for a weekend away. We would definitely be interested to stay again.

Pros: Cabin equipped with a good heater, convenient location to Banff town centre, rustic experience.

Cons: Owner charged us an extra hundred dollars on top of the already hefty fee shown on our booking reference. Cabin was not worth the final price paid (almost $900 for less than one week's stay)!

Quirky and cosy cabin - easily big enough for the four of us and our luggage (backpacks/holdalls). The bathroom's quite small but it all works - lots of hot water - and we cooked in the kitchen pretty much every day we were there.||The beds are ok although perhaps could be better.||The outside deck is great and we spent plenty of time out there.||Chrissy and Yuri are really nice hosts - friendly, helpful and laid back.||It's a few minutes pleasant walk into downtown Banff and one of the best walking trails we did (the Hoodoos lookout) starts quite close to the cabins.||Definitely recommended if you like a bit of character!

My partner and i were travelling around Canada last year, and struggling to find a place to stay in Banff (It was quite last minute). She got the number for Hillside Bungalows and gave them a call, and fortunately for us they had a vacancy for a few nights.||||To start off we arrived late (talking 10pm+), they were lovely enough to leave us a message on the chalk board outside, with details to the wifi also!||The rooms themselves were what i expected from a log cabin at that cost per night, sure the bed creaked a little and it could have done with some maintenance, but those quirks are why we loved it. It wasn't just another clinically clean hotel room. The barbecue outside got a great deal of use also!||The location was only a brief walk from the center of Banff, and one road off the main road, so you don't have to deal with traffic noise.||||We will definitely stay there again if were back in the area.
