I usually don’t write reviews like this, but I felt it was necessary after my experience. I ordered 5 chicken shawarmas, a poutine, and chicken fingers — the total came to almost $100. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of money.

As you can see in the photo, the chicken was burnt and dry. It had a bitter taste and was nothing like proper shawarma. I went back to the shop to explain the issue, but the guy working there refused to accept any mistake and insisted it was fine. That kind of attitude is really disappointing.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after reading other reviews, I realized I’m not the only one. This seems to be a recurring issue, and it’s clear the owner hasn’t made any changes. If you want to keep your customers, you really need to improve your food quality and the way you handle feedback. Right now, it’s just not worth it.

We went there to try the Cuban cigars, and their menu seemed very mouth watering hence my friends and I had Beef Donair and the Chicken Shawarma. The wraps were both so perfectly rolled and crispy!! We felt very authentic especially the chicken was so damn good with phenomenal customer service. 10/10

Best shawarma in Banff!! The food here is amazing and very good value. It’s great they are open late too! Also the staff are so friendly and welcoming, they always have a smile on their face! 10/10 would recommend.

Super convenient spot in the heart of Banff! Everything’s fresh and tasty, but my favorite is the Beef Donair – tender beef, perfect sauce, and crisp veggies, always delicious. Hiran’s service is top-notch; he’s friendly and makes you feel welcome, busy or not. Great food, great vibe. A must-try if you’re in town!

This is a follow-up to your response to my review posted under the account AFG 34. Since Google Maps doesn’t allow me to respond again from that account, I’m replying here to make things clear.

You completely ignored the actual issue, which was the burnt and low-quality food, and instead tried to turn it into a discussion about money. I want to be clear: I never asked for a refund. If that was my goal, I could’ve easily requested it. My concern was — and still is — the poor food quality.

I noticed you’ve responded to other bad reviews the same way — denying the problem and blaming the customer. That’s not how responsible business owners respond.

People are paying for their meals — it’s not free — so you have a responsibility to serve good food. Since you’re continuing to deny this and not taking it seriously, I’ll be submitting the photos and information to Alberta Health Services (AHS) and let them decide if your food meets health standards.

Please take real feedback seriously, this isn’t personal, it’s about accountability and customer safety.

We ordered 3 chicken shawarma they give us. Lamb with chicken , this is horrible , if you don’t have should tell us what’s matter , this shop is cheating with customers

I got reply from you but you know lamb smells coming very strong, just train your staff explain properly because 2 am we can’t come back you to show , lamb is red meat and chicken is white meat you zoom properly then see , if someone is allergy to lamb what will do . Thanks

Chicken Shawarma was a small portion size compared to what I’ve had elsewhere (Calgary) for similar price. I’m used to Shawarma being loaded with meat. Not this place.
Also order chicken fingers for the kids. It looked like the frozen No Name brand chicken fingers from the supermarket. While the kids seem to like it, I’d have preferred something higher quality or at least better portions.

I was craving for some nice poutine, friend of mine suggested this place and it was so convenient that they were open till 3 in the morning. Requested if they could add some chicken to the poutine and they add the shaved chicken meat as well which really satisfied my craving! Will definitely recommend this place!!!!!
