I hosted a women's healing retreat in June 2022 at this wonderful location. It was absolutely perfect! The owners were attentive and answered my calls when I had any questions.
They went above and beyond when addressing my requirements as a location for a small meditation retreat.
The property was lovely with a deck overlooking the creek. We were able to sit out in the evening, listen to the frogs, and watch the fireflies dance.
The main living room was quite large, and open to the kitchen and eating area. I was able to host several workshops in that space.
I had my concerns regarding the composting toilet and how my guests would react when they saw it, but everyone loved the bathroom. It always smelled nice in there even after immediately after use.
The hosts provided all biodegradable shampoos and soaps which along with the composting toilet added to their eco-friendly ways.
This property was exactly what I was looking for when searching for a location to host a small meditation retreat, but it is also an ideal family getaway.
We were there during a heatwave, and my guests enjoyed their free time either on the paddleboards or taking a quick drive to a local beach.
There is a beautiful green space which is perfect to play some outdoor games.
During our stay, everyone who attended planned on renting the space again with their families.
If you are looking for a quiet place to rent, away from all the big boats racing by on the big lakes, then this is an ideal choice.
I'm planning on making the retreat an annual event at Muskoka Creekside Escape.
I am looking forward to working with the hosts again soon to plan this year's event.

I stayed here for a girls weekend it was absolutely hands down fantastic!!!! Super clean, comfortable and stayed cool in the hot summer. The deck was awesome for relaxing and peaceful. I Would highly recommend! We went paddle boarding up the river it was so much fun! There’s even a beautiful beach near by.

Spent 3 nights in February mid-week in this very cosy, comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting in the woods. Loved that it was so close to Bracebridge for restaurants, supplies and shopping. The cottage is well equipped, very nicely finished, and easy to settle into. We found the beds really comfortable. Don't be afraid of the composting toilet. We fired up the wood burning sauna after going skating at Arrowhead Provincial Park which is only 30 min away. The sauna was fabulous. What a great experience! Anna and Peter were very communicative and well organized. We will book again in the summer. Highly recommended.
