Cozy Italian restaurant with some good food and attentive service. Anthony shares a great passion for food and you can feel it in the way he talks about the daily specials. Vanessa took good care of us, their wine selection was good and the bruschetta, their classic pizza, and old school penne were done right! Will be back to try the rack of Australian lamb, calamari, and the Striploin!!

My husband and I were in town for the weekend and decided to go to Speekezzies. I have to say, this place is a beautiful little hidden Gem!!! Delicious Italian restaurant with fantastic service and atmosphere. Anthony and Heather both waited on us, the owners, and they were such nice people. We are a little chatty lol 😆, hopefully we didn't put them behind. The place was very busy, and they let us in even though we didn't have a reservation, which we truly appreciate. Definitely recommend and will go back if we're on the area again. The meatballs were The BEST MEATBALLS I've personally ever had, and the Baramunda and pastas both wonderful 😋

Honestly, this place restored my faith in establishments. My wife and I rarely go out anymore because every restaurant is a disappointment. They charge too much, ignore you, and genuinely just don't care. Right from the get go, they cared. The atmosphere was fantastic -- lively, and intimate. The decor, classic. Heather and Anthony were top notch. They paid attention to you and made you feel like somebody, like your time there matters. The explanation of the specials, fantastic. It's truly hard to describe, but they just get it. To them, they see people come in and out all the time -- to us, it really was experiential, and after a long work week, and the cost of everything these days being bananas, it really was money well spent. It's crazy to sit here and feel this way -- but if you're reading this review, I'm sure you know what I mean when you go somewhere and you're just a number or ignored. I will 100% be back, and can flat out say It's been ages since a restaurant delivered like this. The food obviously was great across the board -- the ingredients top notch, fresh, and high quality. We got 3 apps, and 2 mains, and each was a great portion and delicious. Bless the team and what you're doing. I'm sad that it was my first time, but it won't be my last.

Fabulous food and service! What a great find in Brantford!!!! We went to celebrate our anniversary and didn’t just want the same boring Brantford places. Anthony is a wonderful host and chef, and he made our evening special. We will definitely be back!

Like walking into a time machine and travelling back to an Era where the customer actually matters. Perhaps it's a generational thing, but this place blew my mind. Greeted with a warm welcome on our first visit and every visit since. Anthony, Heather and all the staff are there to guide you through a pallet pleasing journey, you won't soon forget. Prices are reasonable. I could go on & on. Well worth the effort to get in there. Reserve a table or you may not be able to enjoy this outstanding Italian jewel. family run, and that's just how you're made to feel. Like Family!
