Tea on the Grand - Paris, Ontario

I went with three friends to Tea on the Grand in Paris, ON today. Amazing. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and atmosphere, a restored home from the 1800’s with period architecture and furniture, topped off the experience.

There were 4 of us that went to Tea on The Grand today. A first visit for all of us. What a fabulous experience! The food was absolutely wonderful. Freshly made, absolutely delicious, and lots of variety. And so much of it! We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Judy is a wonderful host, and her love of what she does clearly shows in her homemade creations. Judy also took the time to tell us about this beautiful heritage home's history. Just a great afternoon all around. Highly recommend!

My dear friend surprised me with afternoon tea at the Asa Wolverton House and what an amazing experience it was! What a beautiful property and welcoming host!
Judy was fabulous, with a delicious presentation of an abundance of food, and taking the time to answer all of our questions about the property.

Judy let us take our time over the lunch and stressed that she was not in a hurry. The sandwiches were fresh and such a variety! My friend had the gluten free option and she had a great variety of bread and lovely scones. We only ate about half of our food (there was so much) when Judy comes around the corner with a strawberry sponge cake! We really felt spoiled. My friend and I have explored many places that offer High Tea, and this place was the best with not only the price, but the amount of fresh sandwiches and treats. We are already planning our next visit.

This review is long, but what an experience! We talked Judy into showing us around the property. What a step back in time. Our leisurely lunch and tour will be treasured. Thank you, Judy!

This heritage home is a beautiful setting for delectable treats crafted by host and owner. Judy added to the experience by sharing the history of the home and of Paris Ontario. She is charming, full of stories and open to all people.

My girlfriend and I were planning this outing for a year. We went for High Tea at midday. The atmosphere was just lovely. Brooke was wonderfully dressed in Victorian attire. We sat in The Parlour. We had great conversations and detailed history of the house including a tour by Judy and Brooke. The sandwiches were cute and delicately prepared. Loved the wraps and the scones... oh ! the multitude of scones. I would definitely reccomend this special place to all guest.

This was my first time at Tea on the Grand. I was with a group of 13 people. The food and service were impressive. Brook did an amazing job! Will definitely come back!

Just celebrated my 1 Year Anniversary with my boyfriend here, and I just wanted to say thank you for making it even more wonderful than I expected. I went there with my mother for Mother's Day, loved it, and knew I had to take the man I love there as well. Judy was every so kind, I told her it was our anniversary and she made us our own cake with strawberries to celebrate. She was so happy for us, that she insisted on cutting the cake for us. The tea is just delicious, and the food has always been appetizing. Everyone who works there is welcoming and kind. I loved hearing about the history of the home and family.
The food was delicious, and all home made! Scones freshly made and just perfect! I can't say how perfect the experience was for us.
Thank you again ladies for a wonderful anniversary . Can't wait to go back.
