I ordered takeout from this restaurant, and unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. When I received my food, I discovered that the bread included in the meal was moldy. What’s worse is that I had already eaten half of it before noticing.

Shortly after, I started feeling nauseous and bloated, which raised serious concerns about the restaurant’s food safety and hygiene standards.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place to others. I believe food safety should be a top priority for any restaurant, and clearly, something went wrong here. I also intend to report this incident to the relevant health authorities to ensure appropriate follow-up.

I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves their quality control.

Went for some bevvys this spot is a nice lil dive bar off the main drag of Spring Garden. Did not have food, but the service was great and had huge beers. Will update with a food post when we go back.

Shockingly incredible. All ages grooved to the slammin' tracks, late-night food was so fresh & made with love, and we were all kept safe by Tyler the bouncer. The husband said hands down the best lobster roll he's ever had, my vegan burger and side salad were equally amazing!

Every time I try to order from this place, I end up unable to eat my food. I wish this wasn't factual, but it is. Between mistaking Honey Mustard for normal mustard on a burger, or simply bad luck on having a take-out order of fries, only to have a portion cup of whatever mayo melt all over them -

I never end up actually being able to enjoy my food from this place. Ever. It's like some sick, twisted, cosmic joke.

I 👏🏻love👏🏻their 👏🏻tacos!!!
It was my first time getting their food and I was so surprised and satisfied! We got the tuna, chicken, fish, and pulled pork tacos and they’re all so delicious.

My personal favorite is the pulled pork one, which was very juicy! the sauce was amazing with the pulled pork tacos, definitely 5 stars! My second fav was their fish and chicken tacos. The tuna tacos were pretty good too, just a little bit too spicy. Overall I love their tacos so much! Definitely wanna try more food there!

I also like they provided the paper containers and wooden forks. No styrofoam or plastic, very nice. ❤️❤️

I feel like ever since they shut down for a bit after getting caught for serving minors their food has gone down so much. I used to love and order all the time the Brussels sprouts and the cauliflower bites but now I think they’re broth gross. I also recently tried a few other dishes and all of them have been underwhelming. Really unfortunate I used to like this place.

Excellent pub/restaurant. Food is always fresh, tasty and amazing. The service is always impeccable; you feel at home right away. Has to be one of the most unique bars in Halifax and I wish more restaurants would adopt originality. Kai Brady’s is definitely a local hang out.

First time visiting as a bachelorette party group and very pleased with this bar, our server (Kate? Possibly) was phenomenal, couldn’t of asked for a better server. Bringing over a round of shots for us on the house. I was pretty amazed at the quality of the food for being a dive bar. Prices are very reasonable especially since the quality is there. Cocktails and drinks were yummy. $6 burgers when we visited on a Wednesday and live music was playing as well. All servers seemed to be pretty happy and cheerful, which is hard to come by. Definitely cannot wait to come back to check out more of the food menu.
