My first time at this historical property. The service was stellar ? ✨️ The food, not really impressed with the wings as they seemed stale, the fingers and poutine were better. Poutine could have been done better but they were closing so. Lol
There was a pool table and found out there is Karaoke ? on Thursdays and Fridays n Saturdays music ? Overall, cool place for drinks by the lake. Enjoy ?

I don't know what it takes to become a heritage site but this place should be one. A real throwback to the great bars of a bygone era. The exterior and interior are much the same as when I visited in the early 80s in my youth. The young fellow who took over the bar is super friendly and his mom is the cook. We got free banana cake for Easter!! Service is great and rustic atmosphere is fantastic with an amazing interior preserved. It is situated beautifully on Porcupine Lake in South Porcupine and has a turret where they used to direct float planes from that landed at the air facility on Porcupine Lake. The history and stories of the place is incredible. Anybody visiting South Porcupine or Timmins or Northern Ontario for that matter should make an effort to visit the Airport Hotel. A true gem that makes one proud to be from the Timmins area. My wife is from Sweden and she and I have traveled all over the world. Our recent visit was her first visit to the Airport. She said it is the coolest bar she has ever visited. High praise!! Oh, and it is supposedly haunted by the "friendly" ghost of a previous owner! We will be back.

This quaint and nostalgic establishment is perfect for small-town feels. True care and wholesome service. My only "complaint" is that the kitchen was closed at 8 pm and the bartender did not know how to mix the drinks (new to smart serve and bartending) but they did serve us a pizza (which was amazing) out of pure kindness and also, the bartender was happy to google the recipes for our drinks. Definitely will go again.

The brothers who own and operate this place look and act perpetually miserable. Like ordering a beer is in some way putting them out. You guys need to put even the tiniest amount of effort into your attitudes. The overall environment is somewhat congenial despite the best efforts of the owners.

Went for after work drinks with the boys,. Great drinks, great food, and the staff and owner makes you feel like you've been a regular all your life. And there was a brand new puppy running around we got to pet. What more could you ask for?
