Gave this place a go twice. First time I ordered hot wings. They came without any sauce or seasoning, $15 for 10 small wings. Totally not worth it.

The second visit I ordered haddock bites. They were tasty, but again a small order for the price. The menu said $10.50, but was charged over $12.

On a positive note, the locals were cool, and the server was a treat.

Dropped in for the Fish and Chips with coleslaw. The fish breading was crisp and had a nice crunch when cutting into it. The fish inside was flaky and moist. 100%. The coleslaw was fresh and dressing light to the taste. The fries were a nice brown but didn't seem to be as crisp as the fish. The table was clean, and the service was friendly and attentive.

Stopped into The Shire Pub and what nice little pub. The Atmosphere was just like you would suspect from a few regulars having a pint of beer to the art on the walls. The customer service from Shelby & the owner was wonderful very pleasant to talk to. I enjoyed the 2 piece Fish n Chips and my wife had the soup of the day potato and bacon which is made from scratch and my mother in law had an order of wings.
Highly recommend stopping by.

Home made food, excellent atmosphere, friendly staff. Haddock bites and fires were absolutely amazing (and I hardly dabble in sea food). Fresh, delicious beer too!

Best fish and chips I've ever had! Good menu and friendly service. Place was packed at 4pm which can tell you how popular it is.

WOW I must say the Fish and Chips are to die for.
Fish nice and flaky and the batter light and crispy absolutely the best in town.
Even the coleslaw is fresh and yummy.

I was very disappointed by the Shire. We sat down and ordered, and the food failed to arrive at all. Some 15-25 minutes afterwards, we were informed that the items we had ordered were not in stock. A complete failure of communicaton.
