I stayed overnight for a girls night, everything about this place was impressive. It was my first time at a self service type hotel, which I was concerned it would be confusing to figure out but the instructions were so simple! The moment you walk in it feels luxurious. So many cute nooks, you can tell they put their heart and soul into every corner. The room we stayed in faced the grand hall, looking into the square. I was concerned about noise from outside, didn’t hear a thing! So many cute finishing touches, the coupons for local restaurants, local teas and coffee, a cozy throw blanket. I loved it! My only complaint is that there is quite a loud sound after the toilet is flushed, so it woke me up through the night a bit as I’m a light sleeper. I also found the sheets to be a little on the rougher side. But overall really impressed 🙂

We stayed one night for our wedding anniversary, and it was a great stay. The hotel is beautiful, clean and modern. You can see the love and care they put into the design of the hotel, from the electric tea kettle, gold accents , to the nicely designed bathroom and comfortable bed. The self check in/check out process was so easy and went smooth. And they left coupons which was great and we went to both Hugo's and Field House because of them.
I'd definitely recommend anyone to stay here

We chose to stay at the Hotel Morado as we were attending a wedding in the Grand Hall across the street. As the weather was awful, being just steps away from the reception venue was great! No driving required. The location in District 1881 was lovely for dining generally & parking was secure nearby. The hotel is a cross between a boutique hotel & AirBnB. Rooms a not huge but beautifully decorated, clean & have very comfortable beds. Our only suggestion is that the computer check-in process (no manned reception) could be more clearly explained & could possibly be an issue for less techie guests! But help was quickly available via phone so no biggie. Overall great experience!

Perfect! Conveniently placed with eateries and places to grab a drink near by! We were a group of 9 taking most of their 12 rooms, in town for Sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River! No matter your venture this place it very nice and highly recommend a stay! Boutique, clean and well put together!

Thanks Jade for sharing your place with us!

We loved our stay here. It's such a charming little pocket of Chiliwack. You could spend a night here and never have to leave the District. We ate at three restaurants in the district for dinner, brunch and lunch. Also made an early run to the cafe for coffee and treats before brunch. It's nice and quiet. The room is so small but adorable. The hotel is decorated so historic and cute. Definitely opt for a courtyard view. The bathroom is lovely.

Unless you're hauling up heavy luggage, take the stairs. The elevator takes 46 seconds to go one floor. In my building it takes 42 seconds to go 12. I honestly thought we were trapped. There is no closet and the hook to hang our coats was behind a full length mirror. Nowhere to put the massive mirror in the meantime so we hung our coats off a light fixture. The rooms are so close together it's hard to pair our phone to our TV and not other's. It would be nice to open a window even a bit. The pillows are way too high for a human head so I'm glad we read reviews to bring our own.

Super cute and quaint. Trendy and loved the self check in and out. Feels like you’re in your own little world in district 1881. Feels like a true getaway despite being in Chilliwack. My only really complaint is the pillows. They are so big and hard. I would recommend to bring your own pillows. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The fridge compressor was quite noisy as well if you’re a sensitive sleeper. But overall loved the experience and would definitely recommend a stay there and would come back!

Spent New Years Eve and an extra day at the new Hotel Morado. It was a wonderful experience and a great location. We have been to a couple of these newer modern no front desk automated boutique hotels and this is no different. The rooms are a decent size but the location is where its at! Everything is automated and the rooms were clean and simple with all a traveler needs. If there is a downside is there is no king size beds and the pillows were a bit hard. And if there was a short video to show guests how to check in and out would be very helpful. Once those hurdles were done it was easy as pie. I would recommend to at lease try it out. And will be coming back.

Fantastic hotel with beautiful rooms. Very very quiet despite being downtown and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect for a night get away or longer. Definitely coming back.
