My stay at the Hazelnut Inn was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible attention to detail, the cozy and unique atmosphere, and the outstanding hospitality. Every room felt like stepping into a storybook — beautifully decorated, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It’s clear they’ve poured their hearts into this place. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience with luxury, charm, and a sense of wonder, the Hazelnut Inn is unforgettable. We can't wait to come back!

Anyone wishing for an adult vacation for those that appreciate artists, this is the place. I have 2 days stay left and I'm only giving this place 5 stars because I can't give it 6.

The North Star room is a pirates delight, and soon the Underhill will be opening to the delight of Hobbits everywhere.

I can not begin to detail the amount of work that went in to each room, with even the smoke detector getting it's own classy setting in the wall! No picture will do it justice. Every "plank" is hand sculpted, no two alike. Every drape hand made in family, every detail is breathtaking.

Located right on the main road in Yarrow, coming in from Metro Vancouver, Chilliwack or on the way to Cultus Lake you can reach the Hazelnut Inn quickly.

You won't be disappointed at all in the Inn, but I would make sure you make appropriate dinner plans near by as Yarrow itself has few options.

The most magical time!!! Such a unique stay, built from the ground up by an incredibly lovely, talented and creative family! The details are next level and the rooms are so peaceful with soaker tubs, king size beds and private gardens with fire pits. Can't wait to come back!

After watching the Hazelnut Inn being built over the past 7 years or so, (my husband gifted me a two night stay on Valentine’s Day), I was finally able to experience the North Star Suite. ||It is obvious this inn is a labour of love, and the incredible detailing and execution of the build is nicely matched by the provision of a very luxurious bed, pillows and linens, rich textiles, vibrant colours and eclectic decor which put together fit the story of the suite, home to an explorer named Captain Temperance Longbottom. ||The elevated sleeping area replicates the captain’s quarters in the stern of a wooden ship, a deep two person soaker tub, large bathroom and shower, kitchen with eating space and a living room area with streaming tv service, wifi, and decorative fireplace comprise the suite. ||A very generous selection of snacks and non alcoholic beverages, dishes, flatware, glasses, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and Keurig coffee maker add to the creature comforts and bring modern living to this exotic old world vision. ||The suite is multi level with stairs and is accessed through a separate entrance which includes a private garden area with water features, gas fire ring and chairs. This property is adult only and limited to 2 people per suite. It is perfect for a quiet, romantic, couples getaway. Loved it!

This place is magical. Had the opportunity to stay here with my girlfriend for a night and it was everything I hoped for. I was in the north star suite which is styled like a pirate ship. Authenticity and attention to detail was immaculate. Cleanliness was also amazing down to the spotless mirrors and lack of dust on the surfaces. The deep soaker tub makes me want to get one installed in my own house. The natural gas firepit at the front garden was a nice touch as well. We ended up roasting marshmallows by the firepit along with some hot cocoa after a night out in the quaint little town. Located at the base of the vedder mountain and at close proximity to the Chilliwack River meant that there was an abundance of outdoor activities Tobe enjoyed. The host was also amazing, giving us a tour of the rest of the suites even the unfinished copper crown suite and their workshop where all the magic starts. They provided an unforgettable experience and memories to last a lifetime. Thanks Becke and Eric and the rest of the imagination corporation for creating such a fine establishment. Really goes to show that fun and magical fantasy does not end when you "grow up". I will definitely be back and recommend a stay for a romantic getaway from all the hustle and bustle of city life.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! No amount of pictures or videos could do justice to the exquisite, magical experience of walking into the North Star Suite. Hailey and Peter have truly brought a fantasy to life, and we felt like royalty every moment. The artistry is matchless. There is beauty and love in every square inch. The amenities are fantastic - every time I thought "I wish there was..." I'd soon find that it was already there. The bed was as cozy as a dream, and we wished we could stay forever. The Hazelnut Inn is the perfect romantic getaway, and we'll certainly be back.

The Hazelnut Inn - North Star Suite: What an incredible place to stay to celebrate my 65th birthday!!! This truly is a fantasy land the moment you drive through the gate and leave the present day world behind. The attention to the exterior artistic detail is outstanding. To enter the North Star private garden area, you wind up a gently sloped path past waterfalls, stone carvings depicting the era, beautiful gardens and then arrive at an outdoor patio area complete with a fireplace. When the door to the suite opens, you step into a world of 300 years gone by. Again, the detail applied to the interior design and decor is absolutely amazing. The lush linens and fabrics, the beauty products provided, the complimentary food and beverage treats, along with the fabulous artwork makes for an awesome visit. Your eyes are constantly absorbing every detail... from the tile work in the bathroom, the selected furnishings, the gorgeous dinner and glassware and the incredible domed ceiling depicting the stars and sky providing a soft warm glow throughout the suite. There is no detail too small that has not been thoroughly considered as to how it fits the big picture. After 2 days, we were still discovering little surprises that brought joy to our hearts. Our hostess, Becke, ensured that our stay was the best it could be... her warm laughter and caring attitude made sure that we were settled nicely and wanted for nothing. The whole experience was completely stunning. We're already booked for another visit to the North Star to celebrate our anniversary in November. We are also waiting for the Underhill suite to open in June 2025 and will book in as soon as it is ready. The family of Imagination Corporation have created an incredible experience... after years of travelling and staying in unique hotels, we have found that the best place we've ever seen is right here in our own back yard in BC. We highly recommend you take the journey to a land of days gone by and experience the incredible fantasy provided at the Hazelnut Inn.
