The room we had was quite old compared to the photos when booking so I believe we had one that wasn’t yet renovated. It was clean and comfortable but I think that the “old” furniture etc made it feel a bit dingy. The kids were happy with the pool and hot tub - not renovated but it was fun. We did have to share the pool with swimming lessons which was fine as the instructor was very nice and made sure the hotel guests had space but it’s something to note.. there were a few different groups of swimming lessons during our time. The location was close to the beach which was nice. We did also see someone cooking outside of the front doors on a propane camping stove which was interesting. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! There is a coffee machine and creamer ready to go in the lobby which was nice! The lobby and main floor are very nice. The breakfast was great to have! We did have a good stay but just a little disappointed with the room after seeing the really beautiful rooms on the booking website

We arrived, and they were out of complimentary water.
The bed was uncomfortable.
There was an elephant pacing in the room above us, stomping back and forth!
We had the worst sleep.
When we checked out, still no
complimentary water.
I was assured by the front desk that the manager would call me the next day to discuss a refund..
4 days later, still no call!
We use Best Western a lot!
Very disappointed!

The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room is a nice size and super clean. The furniture is new and in great repair. I was really comfortable in this hotel and they had a very nice breakfast. The pillows on the bed are smaller than normal but they did not present an issue.

The location is good, but the hotel is disgusting, or at least the room was that they put us in. My daughter and I came for a weekend trip to Vancouver, and decided to spend the night at this hotel because the location, reviews and price were decent compared to hotels closer to, or in, Vancouver.

Parking was awful. We felt lucky that we were able to find a space in their lot. It didn't look like there were any overflow parking options.

The reservation email stated two queen beds, but we were put in a room on the top floor with only one bed. We asked to be moved to the room we had reserved, so they put us on the first floor at the end of the hall.

When we entered this new room we found a broken security latch, and the TV turned on and loudly playing a sports channel.

When we turned back the sheets we discovered that one of the beds had a very large, yellow stain. I called the front desk and was offered new sheets. However, when the sheets were removed we found a matching large, yellow stain on the mattress, itself along with small black specks all around.

After we had dealt with the sheets, I went to the bathroom to take a shower., but was unable to because there was a lot of black mold all over the bathroom, and hair on the walls. I again contacted the front desk and was told there were no other rooms, so we ended up checking the other bed and sharing it, but sleep was poor, due to the worry about what else might be in the room and bed. I rigged the latch to hold as best as I could. If it hadn't been so late, we would have left, but there were no other affordable hotels in the area that late.

The next morning we got up and out of that room as quickly as possible. I spoke with the man at the front desk, who was very polite, looked at my photos and listened to the issues we dealt with. He refunded a small amount of the room fee, but I felt we should have received half back, at least.

Honestly, the entire room seemed like it had not been cleaned in a very long time.

Next time, we're just going to drive the rest of the way to Vancouver. My family and I will never stay at this hotel again.

The rooms are regularly renovated, but I wouldn't call them fancy. It is a little pricey for what you get, but its location was very convenient.

The staff is excellent.

You can hear everything going on in the hallway like they are in the room with you. The free breakfast is adequate. I've stayed at other Best Westerns that had more/better options for breakfast. There are no other meals available, but there are many restaurants nearby.

Room was comfortable but cleaning could have been more thorough - the mirrors and walls around the jacuzzi tub had fingerprints/hair.
Breakfast was good - pancakes, hard boiled eggs, sausage and breads/muffins/yogurt
Location was good for our needs but was a 45 minute walk from the beach.
Very good check in service, friendly and helped us get the Roku TV to work for us to watch the hockey game. Go oilers.

Pull out sofa bed was absolutely horrible. First night like sleeping on a yoga mat on a bed of pebbles. Second night we put a mattress from a rollout cot on the sofa mattress which made it bearable. These sofa bed mattresses are not made for adults only very small children. Sore back for days. No dresser or bench in the bed room to put clothes or suitcases up off the floor. It was a suite with small kitchen area with nothing in the cupboards at all. |Staff was pleasant and breakfast was good. Except the hot food was very slow coming. Only came in small batches which was frustrating as there was a large amount of patrons due to a volleyball tournament. Should have planned that one better.

Very overpriced hotel for what you get. The beds are very stiff and boxy feeling. Pillows were half the size of regular pillows. AC unit was very noisy. Breakfast pretty unimpressive for the price paid for the stay.
