It really reminds me of my home version of California Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton’s restaurant. Same view of the glorious Pacific Ocean, same beautiful interior design, and same good seafood :). Sitting there watching the sunset and surfing crew was an unforgettable experience.

Food: Pretty bland honestly, the salmon wasn’t fresh at all. The piece of cheese in the burger was as tiny as coin. You can definitely have better food in any other restaurant in Tofino. Definitely not worth the 4 stars.
The potatoes and the latte were great tho.

Service: the person we had didn’t bother to reply when I asked how she were. But also she spilled some coffee on my americano plate and didn’t bother to replace or clean it.
Failed to get the basic of service.

Atmosphere: the view was amazing, pretty nice looking of LongBeach!

We stayed at the Long Beach Lodge for a week and decided to try the Great Room on our first night there. About an hour before dinner, there was a blackout. We were thrilled to find out that they had generators and the restaurant was still open. The second you walk in you can’t help but notice the gorgeous view. The food is equally as impressive.

We decided on the date night prefix menu and it did not disappoint. Every dish was excellent and very well portioned. We ended up back there the following morning for breakfast- wish was also amazing.

The Great Room is a real gem. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Great place. We booked the early bird thingy n it was pretty competitively priced. If you're wanting a massive plate of food, it mightn't be the best option. If you want great food and service, give it a go. We sat by the windows with a breathtaking view of Long Beach.

5 star experience overall, the service and food were great from the start. Proper etiquette is used during service ad food handling. You can definitely tell they are a team of professionals! We got the beef tenderloin + the scallops both were great in flavour and presentation! We had the apple pie to end it all and it surpassed expectations to say the least. Server Natalia was friendly, communicative+ checked in few times to make sure everything was upto Par. Hats off to the team front and back of house 👏👏

Absolutely disgraceful experience. I booked this restaurant a week in advance, specifically letting the hostess know we’d be celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. You’d think that kind of notice would ensure decent service, but apparently not.

We were seated by the window, which was the only good part of this experience. From the moment we sat down, we were completely ignored—20 minutes passed with not a single greeting, no water, no acknowledgment, nothing. Meanwhile, the staff were happily tending to other tables, making eye contact with everyone except us. It was humiliating to sit there, watching other guests get served while we were treated like we didn’t exist.

When I finally brought this up, the manager on the phone gave the most insincere, empty apology—as if they were just checking a box rather than actually addressing the issue. This wasn’t just bad service; it felt deliberate.

Thankfully, we ended the night at The Pointe, where we had an absolute 5-star experience—attentive service, incredible atmosphere, and the kind of hospitality this place could learn from. They completely turned our night around and made sure my boyfriend’s birthday felt special.

Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere that actually cares about its guests.

Thank you, but no thank you. After ordering a different dish containing guacamole, it came to my attention that it is not fresh avocado, but rather it’s served from a pre-mixed plastic container. For the price of the dish I think it deserves at least fresh avocados and some seasoning. Thanks again.

I had an exceptional dining experience on a quiet, rainy day. The atmosphere was wonderfully quiet and relaxing, perfectly complementing the breathtaking view. The menu was a carefully curated selection of delicious dishes that impressed my palate from start to finish. Every detail, from the serene ambiance to the outstanding food, made the visit truly memorable. I would go back any day.
