My partner and I had such a relaxing time and we'd definitely come back! It was really easy to book online, the private facilities were very clean, and of course the outdoor setting made it so special. Towels and robes are provided, and we brought our own sandals. (Also we arrived late for our booking, and were kindly given extra time so we didn't have to cut our session short.)

What a wonderful experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our mid-morning private sauna session and could appreciate the thought and care that went into designing this space. Highly recommend!

A few little finishing touches we’d suggest are a drinking water station/water bottle refill, a better plug for the cold plunge as it was difficult to submerge fully with the water going out the drain, a sand timer inside the sauna, a clock posted on fence or gazebo so can check how much time left, and a few move paving stones to more easily walk between areas.

If you’re looking for a truly west coast outdoor restorative experience I highly recommend The Moonshine Spa on BC’s Sunshine Coast. This is a very special experience in the heart of the Madeira Park forest. The private circuit consisting of a sauna, hot tub, cold plunge tub, covered fire pit lounge area and outdoor shower is well-detailed and calming. The owner Qaid was friendly and welcoming and we love what they are doing with the lodge and the spa. We will definitely be back. Be sure to ask about the story behind the name!

Absolutely loved our experience at Stonewater Resort’s Moonshine Spa! The setting is peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing escape. The cedarwood hot tub was cozy and aromatic, the sauna was incredibly rejuvenating, and the cold plunge was perfectly invigorating. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to promote relaxation and comfort. Qaid was beyond friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. A hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful time here on a Sunday afternoon. The owner is super accommodating and the space was well maintained, clean and peaceful. It’s brand new and so serene! There are towels, robes, showers, soap, a little outdoor propane fire, cold tub, sauna, and cedar infused hot tub. Thank you for a relaxing and blissful time. The best way to end off the weekend :)!

We came here for my friend’s birthday and it exceeded our expectations! It was the perfect way to unwind after a morning hike. Very private and peaceful. A great way for us to relax and connect on a special day. We will all definitely be returning, I highly recommend!

Great affordable sauna-cold plunge circuit. Four of us went for 1 hour 15 minutes, and the cost was $115.50, which is a deal. The grounds are tasteful and serene -the circuit is set up against a lush green forested hill with a tall wooden fence to provide some privacy. There is a cedar hot tub, sauna, shower, cold plunge bathtub, and fire with seating. Towels and robes were provided. Four people can sit comfortably in the sauna and hot tub, while the seating around the fire is best for two, given that there were only two wooden loungers. The sauna has one transparent side that looks toward the hill, so you can take in the scenery while enjoying the warmth of the sauna.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, I have a few suggestions for the Moonshine Spa:
-Consider a jug of water and cups for guests to hydrate
- A changing space within the spa would be nice to change from swimwear to clothing privately
-Two more chairs for guests
-Better plug for the cold plunge to help the water stay in -when one of my very large male friends got in the tub, we lost a lot of water out the bottom of the tub, so it was difficult to submerge our bodies in the plunge after that.
Still, I'd gladly visit again!
